Lindale Park Civic Club Lindale Park is nestled among tall oaks and countless magnolias in Houston’s Near Northside.

Sometimes called the “Hidden Jewel” of the inter-loop neighborhoods, Lindale Park is just east of the Houston Heights. One of the finest of Houston’s older neighborhoods, Lindale Park’s boundaries are Interstate 610 on the north, Moody Street on the south, Robertson Street on the east and Fulton Street on the west.

The June 2026 Lindale Park newsletter will feature a special section highlighting Lindale Park graduates! If you, your child or grandchild recently graduated from high school or college or received a higher education degree AND lives in Lindale Park, we want to know about it!

Please submit the following information to Camille Webb at [email protected] by Friday, June 19:

Tell us a little bit about your graduate, including full name; high school or college graduating from; plans for next year; scholarships, honors and awards; and a digital photograph. There is limited space in the newsletter, so please keep your kudos to 100 words. Thank you!!

Want to be part of one of the biggest sporting events in the world right here in Houston?

The MD Anderson YMCA has volunteer opportunities available during the FIFA World Cup! Volunteers will assist on official game days and experience the excitement of this once-in-a-generation event.

📍 Volunteer shifts are approximately 12 hours and take place on game days only.

✅ Required Training

All volunteers must attend one training session at NRG Arena.
Remaining training dates:

• Friday, June 5, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Saturday, June 6, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Saturday, June 6, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
