🔥 TODAY’S SERMON: THE UNSEEN REALITY 🔥

📖 2 Kings 6:15–17 (NASB)

Just because you can’t SEE God working doesn’t mean He isn’t WORKING! 🙌🏾

In 2 Kings 6, Elisha’s servant woke up and saw that they were surrounded by the enemy. All he could see was danger, opposition, and what appeared to be an impossible situation. But Elisha saw something different. He understood that what was happening in the natural didn’t tell the whole story of what was happening in the spiritual.

There was an UNSEEN REALITY that the servant couldn’t see until God opened his eyes!

Sometimes, we get so focused on what we SEE that we forget about the God who is working beyond what we can see. We see the closed door, but we don’t see the protection. We see the opposition, but we don’t see the reinforcements. We see the problem, but we don’t see how God is already working behind the scenes!

YOUR VISION MAY BE LIMITED, BUT GOD’S POWER IS NOT!

Don’t mistake God’s silence for His absence. Don’t confuse what you see in the natural with the full reality of what God is doing in the spiritual.

You may not see the answer yet. You may not understand the process. You may not know how everything is going to work out. But you can trust that God is not limited to what your eyes can see!

🔥 THERE IS MORE HAPPENING THAN WHAT YOU CAN SEE!

Today, my prayer is that God would open our eyes to recognize His presence, trust His power, and stand confidently even when our circumstances look overwhelming.

Remember: What you see is real, but it’s not the ONLY reality!

🌎✨ NEW SERMON SERIES: A DIFFERENT WORLD ✨🌎

What if the world you see isn’t the only world that exists? 👀🔥

There is a spiritual world beyond what our natural eyes can see—a world where spiritual realities, unseen battles, divine authority, and the power of God are at work!

We often make decisions based on what we see, feel, and experience in the physical world. But as believers, we must learn to recognize that what is happening in the natural is not always the full picture of what is happening in the spiritual.

There is more happening than meets the eye! 🙌🏾

In this new series, A DIFFERENT WORLD, we’re going beyond what’s visible to explore the reality of the spiritual realm, how it intersects with our everyday lives, and why understanding the unseen world matters to our walk with God.

🔥 Different realm. Different reality. Greater understanding.

Come ready to have your perspective challenged, your faith strengthened, and your understanding expanded!

Your issues don’t have to make you hide from God—they can cause you to press toward Jesus.

When life gets heavy, when your heart is hurting, and when you don’t have all the answers, don’t run away from His presence. Press.

Press through the pain.
Press through the fear.
Press through the disappointment.
Press through the uncertainty.

Because sometimes, the very thing that makes you want to pull back is the thing God will use to draw you closer to Him.

Join me tonight for our Elev8 Prayer Call as we PRESS! 🙏🏾🔥

Come expecting. Come believing. Come ready to press into the presence of God.

SHAKEN GENEROSITY | LUKE 6:38

Today at Elev8 Church, we were reminded that God’s generosity toward us is not uncertain—it’s guaranteed.

Jesus said:

“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, they will pour into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” — Luke 6:38

There’s something powerful about the way Jesus describes the blessing:

PRESSED DOWN.
God doesn’t give us a little and leave us empty. He presses it down—making room for more.

SHAKEN TOGETHER.
When something is shaken, the empty spaces are filled. What looked full has room for even more when God gets involved.

RUNNING OVER.
God’s generosity isn’t designed to stop at the container. It overflows. It exceeds what we could contain.

And here’s the encouragement: Jesus is not asking us to trust in a possibility—He is teaching us to trust in His character.

Because Jesus has already demonstrated His generosity by giving Himself for us.

So when life feels shaken, don’t assume you’re being emptied. Sometimes God is making room.

When your circumstances are being pressed, shaken, and stretched, remember: God can still cause what He has placed in you to overflow.

Today, I’m choosing to live generously—not because I’m afraid I won’t have enough, but because I trust the One who has promised to provide.

Pressed down.
Shaken together.
Running over.

That’s SHAKEN GENEROSITY.

🌊 YESTERDAY AT ELEV8 CHURCH… 🌊

Yesterday, we were reminded that sometimes Jesus will invite us to step out of the boat while the storm is still raging.

In Matthew 14:22–33, Peter saw Jesus walking on the water and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

Jesus had one response:

“COME.”

Peter had a choice.

He could stay in the boat where it was familiar and comfortable, or he could step into the unknown and trust the One who called him.

And Peter stepped out. 🙌🏾

Sometimes our greatest challenge isn’t the storm around us—it’s having the faith to get out of the boat.

God may be calling you to step out of your comfort zone.
Step out of fear.
Step out of what you’ve always known.
Step out of what feels safe.

You may not have all the answers.

You may still see the waves.

But when Jesus says “COME,” we can trust His invitation.

And here’s what blessed me most:

When Peter began to sink, Jesus reached out His hand and caught him.

The same Jesus who calls you out of the boat is the Jesus who will hold you when your faith gets weak.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep your faith in Jesus. Stay anchored in Jesus.

🌊 The storm may be shaking, but we don’t have to be shaken.

Thank you to everyone who worshiped with us yesterday at Elev8 Church! What an incredible time in God’s presence! 🙌🏾

Today at Elev8 Church, we were reminded that being COVERED isn’t just about what God does for us—it’s about where we choose to dwell.

Through Psalm 91, we learned that when we DWELL in the secret place, ABIDE in God’s presence, and remain under the SHADOW of the Almighty, we position ourselves in the place of His protection, power, and presence.

We learned that God is our REFUGE when danger is pursuing us, our FORTRESS when outside influences try to move us, and the One we can TRUST when everything around us feels uncertain.

And even when the enemy sets hidden traps, God sees what we cannot see. He is able to RESCUE us from the snare of the fowler and deliver us from deadly dangers.

The promise is not that we will never face trouble—the promise is that we will never face it without God.

📖 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1

A special THANK YOU to Pastor Jay Lewis for coming to Elev8 Church today and blessing us with the Word of God! We are grateful for the revelation, encouragement, and reminder that there is safety in the presence of God.

Don’t just visit the secret place. DWELL there.
Don’t just know about God’s protection. TRUST Him.
Don’t just seek refuge when trouble comes. ABIDE in Him.
