So today we had a dance contest at YALI Camp Houston, and let's just say we have a very talented group with us this summer.

Our Mentor Services Coordinator and one of our students had a dance off outside, and they brought all their best moves! It was a nice moment for us to step outside and enjoy the fresh weather while witnessing a battle of the dancers. We are pleased with both performances.

Day 2!

YALI Camp and was packed with connection, confidence, and strength-building workshops, journal prompts, and painting sessions.

One of our students even painted his idea of a new Face to Face Enrichment Center Houston logo, and we greatly appreciate his talents. After all their hard work, they finished the day with a healthy game of Uno.

Shoutout to our kids for another amazing day!

Male Facts and Stats!!💛

Men are less likely to seek preventive healthcare and are more likely to delay medical treatment, increasing their risk for conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, certain cancers, and other chronic illnesses.

Routine screenings are important, especially as you age. Many men avoid health screenings that could detect issues early, when they are most treatable.

Day 1 of YALI Camp is already off to a beautiful start!

Even though it was raining cats and dogs, that didn’t stop us from having a grand time with the kids. Our students connected through workshops focused on self‑worth, confidence, and communication. We played games, planted seeds, listened to good tunes, and shared meaningful conversations.

The energy is high, the growth is real, and we’re just getting started. Cheers to a wonderful day.

June is Men’s Health Month!

Men's health is just as important as women’s health. But does society always treat it that way? Unfortunately, no.

When we talk about men’s health, we must address both mental and physical health. Healthy habits develop at a young age. Many boys grow to be men who have been conditioned to “tough it out,” ignore symptoms, avoid doctor visits, and push through pain.

As a result, serious health concerns often go undiagnosed or untreated until they become major problems. Gentleman, don't wait until the last minute to check in with your healthcare provider.
