The Champions Park Swim Team is a community swim team for girls and boys aged 4-18.

We are a designated 501(c)3 and encourage all levels and celebrate their accomplishments throughout the season.

⚾⭐ WHAT A DAY WITH THE CP STARS! ⭐⚾

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for Swim Team Day at the Sugar Land Space Cowboys game yesterday! ❤️💙

From marching in the pre-game parade to meeting two-time Olympic medalist Cammile Adams, battling a little rain, and enjoying plenty of ice cream, it was a day full of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories. To top it all off, the Space Cowboys pulled off a 2–0 victory over the Isotopes! 🎉

Events like these are what make the CP Stars more than just a swim team—we're a family. We hope this becomes an annual tradition for years to come!

A very special shoutout goes to Ellen-Elizabeth B. Lee for organizing this incredible outing for our team. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into making it such a fun and memorable experience for our CP Stars families! We truly appreciate everything you do! 👏❤️

⚾🏊 SWIM TEAM FUN ISN'T OVER YET! 🏊⚾

Join the CP Stars for an afternoon of baseball and fun at the Space Cowboys Game on Sunday, July 12th! Bring your friends, family, and neighbors and come make even more summer memories together!

📅 Event Timeline
🕐 1:00 PM – Gates Open
⚾ 1:00–1:20 PM – Catch on the field (bring your own glove and baseball)
✍️ 1:00–1:20 PM – Player Autographs
🥇 1:20–1:30 PM – Swim Talk & Q&A with 2× Olympian Cammile Adams
🏊 1:30 PM – Swim Team Parade around the warning track (Meet Ellen-Elizabeth B. Lee on the warning track at 1:15 PM – 202-422-1234)
⚾ 2:05 PM – First Pitch!
🏃 Postgame – Kids Run the Bases (Waiver required)

Many thanks to all of the volunteers that came out to help for the 4th of July event! Also, our float looked amazing, thanks to everyone who came out!

And congrats to the bake off winners! Our very own Ashley Carlos Cañas and Camila ( Megan Haenisch ) tied for 1st place!

Jorge Geronimo ( Vicki Geronimo ) finished 2nd in the hot dog eating contest with 4 hot dogs eaten in 3 minutes! We have our very own Joey Chestnut in the making!

Huge shout out to Catie Gillespie for her tireless work on the Swim Team Board and the Champions Park HOA board.

We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and memorable Fourth of July celebrating with family and friends!

⭐ Help Us Fill Our CP Stars Parade Float! ⭐

We would love to have ALL CP Stars families join us as we represent our team in the annual Champions Park Fourth of July Parade!

📍 Parade Staging & Start:
The end of Champions Park Dr. at Cypress Point Dr.

🕢 We'll begin gathering swimmers and families at 7:30 PM on Cypress Point Drive before the parade begins.

👕 Please wear your Red, White & Blue CP Stars Tie-Dye Swim Shirt so we can show off our team spirit!

📣 CP Stars flyers to help recruit swimmers for next season!

We need lots of help from both adults and kiddos to throw goodies to the crowd, hand out flyers, and help spread the word about our amazing swim team!

🏡 Even if you don't live in Champions Park, we'd love to have you come out and support the team! Stay after the parade to enjoy one of the area's best Fourth of July fireworks displays with your CP Stars family! 🎇

Let’s fill our trailer with Champions Park spirit!🇺🇸We would LOVE to have every single swimmer join us as we represent our swim team in the neighborhood Fourth of July Parade. The more swimmers we have, the more fun (and impressive!) our trailer will be!

Don’t Forget:🫧Bring a bubble gun if you have one! The more bubbles, the better!

This is such a fun opportunity to show our community what an amazing team we have, and we’d really love to see ALL of our swimmers there. If your swimmer can make it, please come! We really want to pack our trailer with Champions Park Stars and make a big splash as we roll through the neighborhood!

🏆⭐ RECORD BREAKERS! ⭐🏆

Another long-standing CP Stars record has fallen!

Congratulations to Moriah Moss, Josey Agers, Bailey Sausse, and Caroline Moss for breaking the 15–18 Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay Team Record with an incredible time of:

⏱️ 2:02.96 ⏱️

The quartet eclipsed the previous team record of 2:04.34, which had stood since 2014! 🔥🏊

Breaking a record that has stood for over a decade is no small feat. It takes talent, teamwork, dedication, and trust in one another—and these four swimmers displayed all of those qualities throughout the season.
