Champions Park Stars Swim Team The Champions Park Swim Team is a community swim team for girls and boys aged 4-18.

We are a designated 501(c)3 and encourage all levels and celebrate their accomplishments throughout the season.

It's almost race time! Please review the important meet information below and make sure you're prepared for an exciting weekend of swimming.

📍 Location
CFISD Natatorium
12550 Windfern Rd.
Houston, TX 77064

🏕️ Team Setup
Our team area will be set up OUTSIDE. Please note that seating inside the Natatorium is for spectators only.

📅 Saturday, June 20 & Sunday, June 21

🏊 Warmups: 7:00 AM
⏱️ Prelims Begin: 9:00 AM

If your swimmer does not compete until later in the session and would prefer to arrive later, that is perfectly fine—just let Coach Megan know. A designated warm-up/warm-down pool will be available throughout the meet.

🌟 Important Finals Information
Ponderosa is a Prelims / Finals meet.

If your swimmer qualifies for Finals (Top 18), they will need to return later that evening to compete again.

🏊 Finals Warmups: Information will be provided to qualifying swimmers.
⏱️ Finals Begin: 5:30 PM

Please come prepared for a long but exciting day with plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, chairs, and team spirit! ❤️💙

🚨 Lane Timer Volunteers Needed – Friday Only
We have been assigned Lane 7 for the entire Friday evening session beginning at 6:15 PM.

We will need a volunteer (or multiple volunteers willing to rotate) to cover timing duties throughout the session. Thank you in advance for helping support our swimmers!

Please join us in congratulating Megan Senkel, the recipient of the inaugural Brian Menzie Memorial Award! ❤️💙

For the past 8 years and counting, Megan and her family have been an incredible part of the Champions Park Stars family.

Megan spends countless hours dedicating her time to our team, assisting coaches during swim practices and helping ensure that practices run smoothly for swimmers of all ages. Her commitment, reliability, and willingness to step in wherever needed have made a tremendous impact on our program.

In addition to her work at practice, Megan is also one of our top-tier Ready Bench Volunteers, helping keep our swim meets organized and running efficiently week after week.

This award was created in honor of Brian Menzie, whose dedication and service helped shape the Champions Park Stars for many years. Megan embodies that same spirit of selfless volunteerism, teamwork, and commitment to our swimmers and families.

If not, we’ll turn the night into a FUN movie night inside! 🎬🍿
