CHARLOTTE COUNTY 4-H TEEN LEADERSHIP CLUB

Do you know a Charlotte County teen ages 14–18 who wants to build leadership skills, get more involved in their community, and have a bigger role in 4-H?

We're having a 4-H Teen Leadership Club Interest Meeting!

Sunday, September 20
5:00 - 6:00 PM
Charlotte County Extension Office
133 LeGrande Avenue, Charlotte Court House

The Teen Leadership Club will give teens an opportunity to:
• Build leadership and communication skills
• Take on leadership roles
• Participate in community service
• Help plan 4-H events and activities
• Develop teamwork, public speaking, and career skills
• Build confidence and friendships
• Help create opportunities for other 4-H youth

This is a pilot group, so we're looking for interested teens who want to help shape what this club becomes. If we have enough interest, we will move forward with officially chartering the group as a 4-H club.

Have a voice. Make a difference. Lead the way.

School, sports, jobs, and other activities can make scheduling difficult, so we'll also talk with the group about the best time for regular meetings. Weekends are an option!

Something that makes 4-H special is having a community that believes in the potential of its young people. This year, we were fortunate to have local businesses and organizations step up and support the Charlotte County 4-H Camp Scholarship Fund.

We want to thank:

Charlotte Lions Club - Virginia
Virginia Farm Bureau Federation (Charlotte County)
Sonya Carwile, CPA, LLC
Tri-County Ford, Inc
Thompson Insurance Agency
Cornerstone Insurance
INK Designs

Your generosity helped open the door for local youth to experience 4-H camp, where they had the opportunity to make new friends, try new things, build confidence, learn leadership skills, and make memories that they will carry with them for years to come.

But more than anything, your support sends a message to our young people that their community believes in them and wants to see them succeed.

As we continue rebuilding and growing Charlotte County 4-H, having partners like these behind us means more than we can say.

Thank you for investing in our youth, supporting 4-H, and helping us create opportunities for the next generation!

From all of us at Charlotte County 4-H, thank you! 🍀🍀
