Congratulations to the Kiwanis Club of Hope Mills, NC scholarship winners from Jack Britt High, Victoria Harrison and Daniella Reyes Cabrera! These scholarships were presented during their awards ceremony on May 19th! Lindsey A. Smith, President of the Kiwanis Club of Hope Mills, NC and Delores Schiebe, presented Victoria and Daniella each with a $500 scholarship for being the selected winners of the Kiwanis Club essay contest. Both ladies are seniors at Jack Britt High School. The topic of their essays involved the importance of volunteering in their local community.

Congratulations and Good luck to these ladies in their future adventures and endeavors!!

Wrapped up the school year with having four bike giveaways to various schools in the Hope Mills area. During the month of May 2026, the Kiwanis Club of Hope Mills, NC partnered with Wal-Mart to present new bicycles and safety helmets to four students in separate elementary schools in the local area. Congratulations to those kids who displayed characteristics and ideals of what it means to be a Terrific Kid!!💙🤍💙

Smith, President of the Kiwanis Club of Hope Mills, NC , present Taylor Marsh and Lilly Schmidt each with a $500 scholarship for being the selected winners of the Kiwanis Club essay contest. On Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, the Kiwanis Club of Hope Mills, NC, served as the host of their Division 11 Council Meeting. With seven of the eight clubs in attendance, our Division LT Governor, Mike Nye presided over the event that was enjoyed by all. A highlight of the evening's program was the Kiwanis Club of Hope Mills celebration of its 30th Anniversary as a club of the Carolina District.

The Kiwanis Club of Hope Mills President, Lindsey A. Smith, welcomed all attendees to participate in the celebration.

Cindy Stewart was the program's guest speaker who gave a presentation on "The Possibility Project."

Thank you to all who attended the meeting and who improve the lives of children not only in our community, but arpund the world as well!!

Don't forget!!! This weekend, Saturday April 4th is the last home game for our Fayetteville Marksmen.

Come out and enjoy an exciting game and a good cause for the youth in our community. With every ticket sold, the Kiwanis Club will receive $5 back to help fund projects and events for youth programs in Hope Mills.

On February 24th, the Kiwanis Club of Hope Mills extended an invitation to Chief Matthew Cain and Fire Marshall Bobby Carter, of the Hope Mills Fire Department, to be their guest speakers at their dinner meeting.
As a token of appreciation, the Hope Mills Kiwanis Club President, Lindsey A. Smith, presented Chief Cain with a check for $500 in support of the fire department's outstanding service and support to the Hope Mills Kiwanis Club.
