The Town of Hope Mills invites our community to join us as we come together to remember, reflect, and pay tribute to the lives lost and the heroes who answered the call on September 11, 2001.

This year marks 25 years since the tragic events of 9/11, a day that forever changed our nation. While we remember the thousands of innocent lives lost, we also honor the extraordinary courage of our first responders, members of our Armed Forces, and everyday Americans whose acts of bravery, compassion, and sacrifice demonstrated the strength and resilience of our nation.

Dangerous heat is expected today. A Heat Advisory is in effect for most of central NC. Highs will reach the mid 90s. Heat indices will reach as high as 107. This will be followed by strong to severe thunderstorms with damaging wind possible. Some flash flooding will be possible, mainly in urban areas.
