Last night, the Sachem Slammers FC B16 (FC - Blue) and Sachem Slammers Hawks B16 (FC - Red) took the field one final time this season at the Massapequa Father's Day Tournament. While the tournament result didn't go our way, what we saw from these kids was nothing short of incredible. They competed hard against EDP and CJSL Elite level teams, supported each other, and played with heart from start to finish — and that's what this is all about.

What a year it has been! (FC - Blue) finished the year with an outstanding record of 13-3 — a record that speaks for itself. And then there's (FC - Red) — a team that went from 0-18 last year and came back this year to finish with a record of 5-9-1. That kind of turnaround doesn't happen by accident. It happens because the kids refused to quit, kept showing up, and believed in each other.

Both teams pushed each other, lifted each other up, and showed up week after week with the kind of attitude that makes coaching truly rewarding.

To our players — thank you for everything you gave this season. To our families — thank you for your support, your encouragement, and for making every sideline feel like home. We couldn't do any of this without you.

Proud of these kids. Can't wait to see what's next!

What a season for our Black B16 boys! 🖤💛

While yesterday’s result wasn’t the one we hoped for, these players have absolutely nothing to hang their heads about. They battled their way to the Long Island Cup Championship and earned an incredible 2nd Place finish against some of the best competition around.

The growth, determination, teamwork, and resilience this group has shown throughout the year has been remarkable. The progress they’ve made since last season is a testament to their hard work, commitment, and belief in one another.

Championships are great, but watching these young athletes develop as players and teammates is what it’s all about. We couldn’t be prouder of this team and everything they’ve accomplished.

Congratulations on an amazing run, boys. Hold your heads high, you’ve represented the club, your families, and yourselves with pride. The future is bright! ⚽🏆💪

For families who have not yet received a team placement call or are looking for a new team opportunity, we’ve added additional tryout dates for several age groups!

📅 Check the flyer for updated dates and times, including:
✅ Academy Boys & Girls (U7/U8)
✅ Girls U9/U10
✅ Boys U9-U14

All tryouts will be held at Sachem Soccer Park (Waverly Elementary School).

This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and become part of the Sachem Slammers family, where players compete, develop, and achieve in a positive, player-focused environment.

🦁⚽ What a fantastic Spring Season for Team Lions! ⚽🦁

This group of players brought energy, enthusiasm, and smiles to the field every week. Throughout the season, they worked hard, improved their skills, supported one another, and most importantly, had fun playing the game they love.

The friendships built, lessons learned, and memories made are what youth soccer is all about. We are so proud of each player for their effort and growth this season.

⚽️💛🖤 Season Complete for the Goal Diggers! 🖤💛⚽️

After a late Friday night away match and an early Saturday morning finale at home, the Goal Diggers wrapped up an incredible season with a record of 8 Wins, 1 Tie, and 1 Loss!
While we came up just short in our final game with 1st place on the line, we couldn’t be prouder of everything these girls accomplished this season. Their hard work, determination, teamwork, and growth have been amazing to watch. The progress they’ve made from the beginning of the season to now is something truly special.

This team has come a long way, and the future is bright for this group of players. Thank you to all the families, coaches, and supporters who cheered them on every step of the way!

What a day for Sachem Slammers B17 Black!

Led by Coach Connor, this incredible group battled their way to the LI Cup Championship, capping off an unforgettable season with a title-winning performance. The hard work, dedication, teamwork, and determination these boys have shown all year long were on full display when it mattered most.

From the opening whistle to the final celebration, the boys played with heart, supported one another, and earned every moment of this championship victory. Seeing the smiles, medals, and trophy celebrations says it all!

🔥 Players of the Match 🔥

A huge congratulations to B16 Black’s three Players of the Match as the team closed out the regular season with a dominant 4-0 victory! ⚽️💪

🧤 PJ recorded a clean sheet, leading a strong defensive effort from start to finish.

⚽️ Graham found the back of the net twice with an outstanding attacking performance.

⚽️ Devin added two goals of his own, helping power the offense to a convincing win.

The victory secures 2nd place in the Premier Division and gives the team plenty of momentum heading into the LI Cup Final today! 🏆

⚽️ B2017 wrapped up an incredible season with a fun-filled Parents vs. Players game!

The players brought their energy, skills, and competitive spirit, while the parents showed they still had a few tricks left in the tank. 😄 It was a great way to celebrate a season full of growth, teamwork, friendships, and unforgettable memories.

Thank you to all of our players, parents, and coaches for making this season such a success. We loved seeing everyone come together for an afternoon of laughs, great soccer, and family fun.

Way to go, B2017! We can’t wait to see what next season brings! 💛🖤⚽️
