Public schools are the glue of our communities and on May 19th, you have the chance to stick with them! Make sure you get out and vote in support of your school budgets and for pro-public education candidates.

NYSHIP is considering policy changes that could reduce or eliminate coverage for medically necessary treatments like acupuncture and medical massage therapy provided by Licensed Massage Therapists.

For many patients, these therapies are not luxuries — they are essential treatments that help manage pain, improve mobility, reduce stress, and improve quality of life.

If these changes move forward, many individuals may lose access to the care they depend on simply because they cannot afford it out of pocket.

We kindly ask you to take a few minutes to make your voice heard by completing a few actions below:

Greetings BEES members. Are you a terrible Tier 5/6 member? Both ERS and TRS pension systems are affected by the awful changes made from Tier 4 to Tiers 5/6. Join the BEES, NYSUT - A Union of Professionals and other locals as we rally to Fix Tier 6 (and 5) on March 8th! Some changes have already been made, but we need your voice to make more! We would like to fill up a bus with BEES, so please RSVP (deadline is 1/30/26)! Lunch and a t-shirt is included in the day, and you can bring family or a friend, just be sure that they RSVP as well.
