This little man was safely reunited with his family and was as happy to see them as they were to see him. We wanted to say thank you to those who took part in helping this senior boy make it home from the "finder" to the rescue friends and families who took the time to post, share, text and call....true rescue only works when people take interest (no matter how skewed some peoples opinions and intentions are). The reality is this, there will ALWAYS be people who form an opinion that is fast to judge without a PROPER and complete investigation. There will forever be people who use social media as a platform to be nasty, rude and are often completely wrong. Some of those people, many of them, fire off because they are passionate about their mission and well, that's just fine. BUT to those others, people don't bite off more than you can chew, because you don't know all you think you do and you may not know who you just took a potshot at and definitely don't render yourself an irrelevant fool because you pulled the trigger and missed or were wrong to have fired in the first place. THANKS AGAIN to the pack of peeps involved especially the new connects we made. It was great texting and talking we you and we look forward to working together in the future. Keep fighting the good fight and saving animal lives!!!! SUPER GLAD YOU MADE IT HOME SAFE AND SOUND RIGATONI

To ALL concerned about the “little white dog” found in Coram. Let me clarify for the overzealous bashers....The dog was found by MY friends father in law I was contacted as was other rescue people they knew because, well that’s what people do when they are looking for guidance. The dog has already been to the vet pictures are being taken and if necessary proper authorities will get involved. Additionally than that we had contacted Brookhaven animal shelter this morning and the dog will be headed there tomorrow after it finishes getting groomed. Nobody is going to look for their dog at a rescue if it has been lost, they are going to go to the animal shelter closest to them and they will also call or visit local veterinarians not rescues this is why we are not turning the dog over to any other rescue. People do not have to like that it is just the way that it is. If you think this is your dog or you think you know who’s dog it is I strongly suggest tomorrow afternoon you go to the Brookhaven animal shelter where it will be accompanied by some sort of proof to show that the animal actually belongs to you.
As far as whether we are a real rescue or not....just because we currently do not have a facility does not make us any less a “real” rescue organization. As many have had to do in the last year or so financially handling the burden of a facility was not in the cards. When we open back up I promise it will be posted. We have not lied about or withheld information about anything ever or to anyone and we are not doing that now. If you were unable to reach one of us it might simply have been we’re all at work today and do things other than the rescue I try very hard to get back to people when I can as soon as I can. I was sent two text messages with regard to the dog a little while ago and I both text messages were responded to with a phone call. I can appreciate everybody’s passion when it comes to animals and their safety and well-being but sometimes people need to chill out not everything is a scam not everybody is a liar and not everybody is up to no good. I hope that clarified peoples concerns.
