Guest speaker: Sarah Hagenow, Alice in Dairyland

As Wisconsin’s 78th agriculture ambassador, Sarah Hagenow’s goal is to educate audiences about the importance of Wisconsin’s diverse agriculture industry, how it impacts our daily lives, and the $116.3 billion economic impact it has on the state’s economy.

Hagenow is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural and food business management with a minor in international agriculture. Hagenow feels at home in Wisconsin's agricultural industry and enjoys telling the stories of its hard-working people.

This monthly program is FREE and open to the public.

Beaded Spider Suncatcher Workshop
Tuesday, June 23rd from 1 to 3 pm
Ages 12+

Uncover the charming European legend of the "Christmas Spider" in this hands-on beginner’s workshop! Participants will learn how to transform colorful beads and wire into an elegant, shimmering spider suncatcher that adds a touch of folklore and sparkle to any window. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Step-by-step guidance on basic wire-shaping and bead-stringing techniques.

Learn to paint a Sunset Beach in Acrylic on a 9x12 canvas. Lori will walk you step by step through painting the image, applying color, using special techniques to achieve certain looks, and adding finishing detail work. All levels welcome!
Acrylic supplies are included with the class, but feel free to bring your own if you wish.
