Yesterday was a beautiful day🥹
Andi Parins and I(Kayla Stoa) were able to drive down to Madison and not only meet Ashlee & Garrett Meinhardt and their beautiful “monkeys” as Ashlee calls them, but also, present them a check.

Thanks to everyone who donated, sponsored, and helped our event in such an incredible way, we were able to provide the Meinhardt Family with a check for $11,500.00 to help ease this difficult time being in the hospital with their sweet baby boy Nicholas. We shared stories of our kiddos, laughed, cried & hugged it all out. 💖

Please keep the family in your prayers this week as they navigate another surgery on Thursday to take one more step in coming HOME. The first time their family would be home all together in the past 4 months.

We truly can’t thank you all enough for all the support shown to not just this family, but to our cause. YOU helped us raise a grand total(after all expenses) of $30,526.00! 😭🥳

We will be sending another check to the WSS Foundation to help support medical research for Wiedemann-Steiner Syndrome for $11,500.00 and the remaining money will be kept to help make next years event BIGGER and BETTER! We can’t wait to share those details VERY soon as we have already been planning for next years event! 🥰

It’s everyone in our community who makes these events happened and let me tell you, our community SHOWED UP😭💖 We appreciate it MORE than we will ever be able to tell any of you.

Remi’s Rally has become so much more than just raising money for medical research for the rare disease our Remi has: Wiedemann Steiner Syndrome. It’s now changed direction to help medically complex kiddos/family in our very own Coulee Region. A portion of funds raised on this Saturday, June 15th at Maple Grove Venues, will go to the Meinhardt Family.

I’d like to introduce everyone to the Meinhardt Family. This years recipient of the Remi’s Rally Family Support Nomination.

Ashlee & Garrett live right in West Salem with Makenzee(10), Nathan(9), Chloe(7), Aiden(2) & sweet baby Nicholas(11 weeks old).
During Ashlee’s 20 week ultrasound while pregnant with Nicholas, it was discovered he has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Also known as “born with half a heart”. Shortly after birth on March 19th, Nicholas was transferred to American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Just two days later, he had his first open heart surgery. He will have another surgery that is planned for the end of June. That’s not the end of surgery for him or his family. He will have another when he is 3 years old; none of the surgeries are guaranteed to fix his heart condition. He could go into heart failure at any point during this and require a heart transplant, something he could wait a day or months for.
The Meinhardt Family has been spending majority of their time in Madison to be as close to Nicholas as they can be while also trying to keep lives “normal” for their older children. Nicholas has never been home and will not be home until after his second open heart surgery at the end of June.

We ask that you keep the Meinhardt Family in your thoughts & prayers during this very difficult time, but also come help support them and raise monetary funds for their family at MGV on Saturday.

On behalf of the Meinhardt Family and team Remi’s Rally, we appreciate all the support you have shown us this far.

Bounce houses for kids starting at 10am until 7pm!

Silent auction, live auction, raffle baskets, tip board items, 50/50 boards and more starting at 10am!

Chicken Que meals starting at 10am-7pm! $10 per meal!

We will do a kids bracket if enough kids show up!
