Prissy, Doc, and Fifi do this about three times a day, and I absolutely love watching their little pack behaviors. Does anyone else have dogs that do something unique or interesting as a pack? Tell me what your pups do — I’d love to hear about it!!! 🐶🐶🐶

Prissy was very brave at her doctors appointment, so we treated her to a pup cup!! Of course, we couldn’t leave out Fifi and Doc.🍦 Everyone loves the Driftless Rescue Mobile. We get lots of waves and smiles. 👋🏻 😁

🖤 PRISSY’S STORY: SOMETIMES BEING RESCUED IS ONLY THE BEGINNING 🖤

Prissy has already been through so much. She was abandoned, rescued, and eventually adopted into what we hoped would be her forever home.

… but her story wasn’t over. 🥺

During the transition Prissy became frightened, jumped, and fell getting out of the SUV. Soon after, she began limping. Her adopter lovingly cared for her, but Prissy was hurt, sad, and refusing to eat. Together, we made the difficult decision to bring her back to Driftless Rescue.

Prissy’s limp continued, so an orthopedic exam was scheduled to determine the issue. She was diagnosed with a cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injury and will likely need TPLO surgery to give her the best chance at a comfortable, pain-free life.

… And this is where we need your help. 🐾

We hope to raise approximately $5,000 to help cover her surgery, veterinary care, medications, and recovery.

Prissy is safe, loved, and will remain with April and Driftless Rescue throughout her surgery and recovery.

🍂 As we wind down, Driftless Rescue will be slowing down our intake and operations for the winter. This isn’t goodbye, but we may not have as many dogs coming through our rescue for a little while.

In the meantime, we would love for you to check out our friends at MADE New Dog Rescue!!! 🐶 Clinton, Wisconsin.

We work closely with MADE New and truly believe that rescue is about working together to save as many lives as possible. We are stronger together!!

MADE New will continue taking in dogs throughout the winter and helping them find loving homes. Please show our friends some love by supporting, fostering, adopting, or sharing their amazing dogs!! 🐶🐾
