Dogs Without Borders is a 501c3 non-profit, small dog rescue that saves homeless & abandoned dogs from high-kill shelters in the Los Angeles area, and find them permanent and loving homes. We require an adoption application and a home-check. Our adoption fees are listed on our website. All dogs are spayed/ neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to adoption, and come with a DWB ID tag.

Meet Jagger:
Jagger is a stunning 30 lb boy who is literally a rescue diamond! 💎

Jagger appears to be mostly deaf, but that doesn’t hold him back at all from being the sweetest and silliest pup in town. It is impossible not to immediately fall in love with Jagger as soon as you meet him; he is a happy guy with big brown eyes and an adorable, sweet face.

He seems to be potty trained; he has not had an accident inside. His foster restricts his water to before walks; otherwise, he will drink himself to sickness. Jagger loves sniffing everything on walks, but doesn’t seem to be a marker. He p*es once on a walk and then spends the rest of the time sniffing.

Jagger still has some puppy energy but can also be very lazy and loves to lie down. When playing, he loves to gently nibble on hands and feet but can be redirected with toys. He loves to cuddle and lay near you.

Jagger doesn’t love entering his crate, but if you throw a treat in there, he will walk in and is totally fine. He seems fine with separation anxiety too. His foster has him sleep and eat in his crate as a safe space.

Jagger is pretty quiet overall and does not bark. It seems he would do well in a variety of homes. He would love to have a friend to play with, but would do fine as the only dog.

🏡🐾 Harry is looking for his forever home! 🏡🐾

Sadly, Harry's adoption trial didn't end up working out. (He had too much energy 🥹) That's ok, because we will find the perfect home for him. He is only 1 yrs old, so he is playful and would enjoy walks and playtime! (Best with no young kids, please!)

Meet Harry:
Harry is one friendly guy! He is so affectionate with everyone and has to stop on walks to say "hi" and ask for pets from anyone he can talk into it. He has good energy and likes to zip around the yard or play chase but doesn't really play with toys yet - maybe he's never had the chance?

He's a great sleeper and is very well-mannered and hasn't barked at all in his foster home. When walking, he hasn't been afraid of or reactive with other dogs (big or small), cats, or any people. He's a gentle guy who doesn't seem to have been raised with the basics like leash walking and fetching toys, but he's up for almost anything as long as he can be with his humans. He'll end up in your lap if you give him any chance at all! Looking for a snuggle buddy? This is your guy!

🚨 Urgent Foster Needed: Gordon is running out of time!! 🚨

Please Help! If we don’t find Gordon a foster by Wednesday he will have to go to boarding 🥹😩

*Looking for an experienced adult only foster home, ideally with a small yard or apartment on the first floor with easy access to outside area.

*Gordon would do best with another friendly dog that can show him the ropes! He does not like to be touched, so having a dog friendly dog makes him more comfortable!

🔺PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO - THIS IS A FERAL DOG!🔺

Meet Gordon! This guy is really, really, really ridiculously good-looking and has so much potential! HE DOES NOT like to be pet or touched, so he really needs someone who can give him space.

He loves to play and explore, and, with good initial introductions, can live comfortably with other dogs.

Gordon had a rough start in life and was rescued from a hoarding situation, so he trusts other dogs and is working on trusting people. At the hoarder, he was living in filth with about 100 other dogs in a single home.

Since being rescued, he has been decompressing in a loving foster home with other dogs.
Dogs = safety. no cats, please!

Gordon already makes a lot of eye contact, responds to verbal correction, and has been good about going outside in an enclosed yard. However, Gordon does not yet trust people — he wants to, but it will take time and patience before he will let you get close. Gordon sleeps quietly through the night in his crate or pen but he needs a human with experience working with dogs who understands and gives him space and time. He would do best in a home without young children, as he will startle easily and doesn’t like to be touched.

Please reach out if you can provide Gordon with a safe home. Look how happy he is around other dogs! Let’s not give up on him 🙏🏽

Sadly, Stevie is being returned to the rescue. She is looking for a foster or forever home.

Stevie is a very active and smart puppy. She is working on potty training with p*e pads, and she sleeps perfectly in her crate all night with no issues. She loves to play with her toys.

Stevie needs one more round of vaccines before she can start going on walks. She is a puppy with a lot of energy so she is looking for a forever home that can give her tons of love, guidance, and continued training which every puppy deserves. With her sweet nature and loving heart, Stevie is sure to become a devoted best friend.

Meet sweet Bunny 🐰🤍

Bunny is discovering all the little joys of being a dog for the very first time and ….she is LOVING them. She recently discovered “walks” and is officially obsessed 😂 She loves the dog park, meeting new friends, and will bless you with the cutest little 3-minute bursts of energy before going right back to her favorite activity: lounging on the bed. 🥹

She LOVES toys (all toys are good toys in Bunny’s world 🧸), is incredibly friendly with everyone she meets, and truly has the kindest, gentlest little soul.

She’s still learning the whole potty-training thing, but with some patience, consistency, and lots of love, we think she’ll get there. 🤍

After everything she’s experienced, it’s so special watching her discover how fun and cozy life can be. And I mean… what’s not to love about that squishy little face?! 🥹🐰💕

Chiweenie boys Dash (first 4 photos) and Scout (last 4 photos) are still looking for their forever homes! About 14 weeks and about 4-5 lbs each. Dash (tri color) is the tiny spark plug of the litter! Don’t let his size fool you—he has enough confidence and personality for three puppies. He bounces into every room with an adorable swagger and joyful energy that’s impossible not to love. Curious, playful, and always ready for his next adventure, Dash brings smiles wherever he goes. Scout (black) isn’t afraid to let everyone know when he has something to say! He’s wonderfully expressive and always keeps the family informed when it’s time for food, playtime, or cuddles. Despite his big voice, he’s incredibly gentle, playful, and affectionate. His fun-loving personality makes him an instant favorite.
