Ke Aloha Outrigger is getting ready for the 2026 season. Ke Aloha and HCCB coaches and guides were on the water this weekend for a quick trip into the harbor.

Temperatures are still too brisk to open our paddles to the public but planning is well underway to welcome you to the start or our paddling season at Hoboken Cove!

Please support our boathouse.

Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse has so much to be thankful for especially to all of our volunteers who continue to donate their time and expertise to operate a safe and welcoming environment for our public programming.

We hope you will take some time to support the efforts of our volunteers by donating to our GivingTuesday campaign. Help us continue to provide our free program for another year! Any donation size can help us towards paying our operational expenses including our insurance which has been increasing a lot over the last few years.
There are not many free programs out there and affordability is tough. We want to make sure everyone, no matter their circumstances, have access to our beautiful waters!

We take out over 4000 paddlers per year, we are open evey weekend during the summer, we have paddle boarding, outrigger canoeing, and a yearly race! All thanks to you, your donations, and our amazing volunteer crew that freely give many hours of their time.

Donation link is in our bio.

Hoboken Cove conquers Spuyten Duyvil!

Our HCCB elite kayak and outrigger volunteers took advantage of the warm fall day for a 22-mile paddle to Spuyten Duyvil on the tippy top of Manhattan in the Harlem River.

HCCB/Ke Aloha Outrigger is operated 100% by volunteers. We offer skills training to our established volunteers to teach them to be confident water people in order to go on these long paddles. Look to join us early next season for volunteer opportunities at our boathouse.

Needed that paddle in before the nor’easter!

Our Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse volunteers were on the water this weekend itching to get that paddle in before the incoming nor’easter hit. After a shared p**e ceremony on the beach to make sure we were protected by the higher ups, our kayak group headed north on a 20-mile paddle to Englewood while our outrigger group, , did a 9-mile run south to the Statue of Liberty with visiting paddlers from

Nothing like a misty rain to show how ethereal our waters can be. All are back safe and sound. We’re already hunkered down and planning for the next weekend. Until then, stay safe and warm as we roll into fall.

Pajama Party!

Our covers for Kaiholoku’i were slashed and stolen early this year and Pukini’s set was looking pretty ragged. Thanks to Stef at Aloha Designs, we got a fresh new set of PJs for them and they fit perfectly! Mahalo nui

And mahalo to all of our and volunteers, supporters and donors for helping us keep our programs available to everyone. We hope you join our community at our little beach and boathouse before the summer ends in a few more weeks.
