Sharing Hope Africa Our Mission: Sharing Hope Africa, Inc. Water - Sharing Hope Foundation provides freshwater wells for communities without access to clean water.

Farming - Our farms provide fresh, nutritious produce, employment, and teaching opportunities for local widows and unemployed workers in Eswatini.

It’s the final countdown, and it was all thanks to you!!

From what started as a young organization in 2019, we have accomplished a lot in the last 7 years as Sharing Hope Africa. Everyone deserves access to education, health security, and economic stability in this world. And we have come so far in providing these three essentials to the families in Mozambique.

By 2027, Sharing Hope Africa has brought forth:
✨A farm in Eswatini providing jobs and locally grown food.
✨Our chicken coop which is long-term revenue stream to fund the Sharing Hope Preschool.
✨A fully operational Preschool that will be expanding in the new year to more families in Mozambique.

Let’s continue to push towards our goal as we approach our very last Scholarships for Every Student Campaign ever with Cocktails for a Cause! ✏️

A night out is easy to say yes to. A night out that helps fund a preschool’s future? Even better. 🍸💛

On September 18, we’re gathering at Antique Loft in Hoboken for Cocktails for a Cause: The Final Bell.
Sharing Hope Preschool is moving toward long-term sustainability through its chicken coop, but reliable income from egg sales will take time. This event helps bridge that gap so the school can stay open, reopen its third classroom, and welcome more students in 2027.

Your ticket includes an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, music, dancing, and the chance to be part of what comes next.

Running a nonprofit….hobby? or second job?👀

For our US based team - which is 100% volunteers - they donate their time to raise awareness and funds for the local projects we support in Mozambique.

Some people still call it a “hobby” - or ask how our vacation was after getting back from Mozambique - but we know the truth😉

Right now, we have ~10 volunteers helping with social media, fundraising, event planning, strategy - and we’re always looking to invite more passionate people to join our mission to share hope!

Every future starts somewhere. For 51 students at Sharing Hope Preschool in Mozambique, it starts with a safe place to learn, a warm meal, and someone showing up for them every day.

Dependent on donations = fluctuating support.

It means inconsistency, and it’s not a long-term, community-owned solution.

So what happens when you start to fundraise for projects and programs that center community needs and ownership?

It strengthens local community - and the ability to support nonprofit started projects, like Sharing Hope Preschool.

Nearly 15 years ago, this school was opened to serve kids who were the most at risk in Mozambique - but in 2019, their original fiscal sponsor suddenly disappeared. Teachers went unpaid. Students were turned away. Class sizes dropped - from a total of 100+ students enrolled, to 30.

But now, we’re fundraising for scholarships for the last time! Because soon, the school will be paid for by selling eggs from a chicken coop.

It’s going to shift ownership back to the community - which means this school and these Mozambabies can have consistent support for the long run.

Have you ever wondered what a preschool scholarship covers in Mozambique? 🇲🇿

With two classrooms in the Sharing Hope Preschool and 51 students registered, we have been able to fund their school fees, education, clean water and any medical needs throughout the school year.

And by 2027, Sharing Hope Preschool will open up a third classroom and add 30 more students to the roster!

We strive to continue to keep this momentum going with continuous scholarships and our newly funded chicken coop for the upcoming year.🐣

Sharing Hope Preschool’s chicken coop is creating a path toward long-term, locally generated funding through egg sales. But, building consistent income takes time, and the students can’t put their education on pause while it grows.
Cocktails for a Cause will help fund the preschool’s 2027 school year and support our goal of reopening the third classroom, growing from 51 to up to 100 scholarships.
