CAN YOU HELP TITO FIND HIS FOREVER FAMILY?

Tito has been waiting since May to find his forever home!

Tito is a gentle, sensitive galgo with the sweetest brown eyes and so much love to give. His foster family absolutely adores him and affectionately calls him their “sweet little peanut.” He may need a little extra reassurance at first, but once he feels safe, his personality starts to shine! He becomes a little Velcro dog, following his foster mom around and giving gentle nose boops when he’s ready for some love.

🐾 A little more about Tito:

•Dog friends: Tito enjoys other dogs but we think he’d especially benefit from a confident female dog who can show him the ropes and help him build his confidence!

•People: He naturally gravitates toward women and children

•Ideal home: A quieter, patient, cat-free home where he can build confidence at his own pace.

•Favorite things: Morning cuddles, outdoor adventures, familiar routines, and bedtime peanut butter Kongs!

Tito doesn’t need a perfect family. He just needs someone willing to give him the patience, consistency, and love he needs to feel safe and truly blossom.

He’s already spent months waiting for his forever. We’d love nothing more than for the next chapter of his story to begin in a home of his very own.

In just three weeks, four volunteer companions will travel to Spain with Daphne Legacy Tour, our transport partner, to es**rt 20 Galgos to the U.S. Some will be welcomed into the American Greyhound family, while others will continue their journeys through other rescue partners. All 20 dogs will have their first chance towards the lives they deserve.

But we want you to know what this trip really looks like:

This isn’t a vacation. It’s a mission.

These companions aren’t heading to Spain for sightseeing and sangria. They’re going to work. They’ll have their hearts tugged in a hundred different directions as they meet the dogs and see firsthand why this work matters. They’ll get dirty. They’ll run on minimal sleep. They’ll travel by plane, train and car. And when it’s time to head home, they’ll make the long journey back while helping care for the galgos entrusted to them every step of the way.

Daphne Legacy Tour covers 100% of the necessary travel expenses for these volunteer companions through fundraising, including flights, modest accommodations, trains and rental cars.

And here’s why funding those expenses matters so much:

When you help fund a companion’s travel, you aren’t paying for someone to take a trip to Spain. You’re helping five galgos make the journey from Spain to the foster and forever families waiting for them here.

Those of us who have welcomed a galgo into our lives know what can be waiting on the other side of that flight. A soft bed, safety, love, and the chance to finally just be a dog.

Welcome to our new members! Daphne Legacy Tour flies Galgos from Spain to the US and into the trusted hands of our adoption partners. Today we have over 300 Galgos in 34 states, Hawaii included, adopted through almost a dozen adoption partners.

Every human cost is covered 100% by our fundraising: flights, hotels, rental cars, trains. One person can es**rt five Galgos, so every person we send means five more dogs make it home. We ask nothing of our adoption partners, which keeps adoption fees reasonable for families.

In three weeks, four of our companions leave for Spain to bring 20 lucky Galgos home, and we are still scrambling to fund it. Even the smallest gift makes a difference.

Meet Tito! 🐾

Tito is a sweet, gentle, and sensitive boy who is learning that people can be trusted. While he may be shy at first, once he feels safe, he becomes a loving companion who enjoys gentle hugs, nose boops, and staying close to his favorite people.

He absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine sibling to help him continue building his confidence. Tito loves exploring nature, enjoys a predictable routine, sleeps through the night, and is making great progress with house training and leash manners.

Because of his high prey drive, Tito is looking for a home without cats or other small animals. What he needs most is a patient family willing to let him blossom at his own pace.
