World Heart Rhythm Week 2026 has come to a close, and we want to say a heartfelt thank you đź’™

Through the theme “Your Heart, Your Rhythm, Your Story,” we shone a spotlight on the important relationship between syncope (fainting) and heart rhythm disorders. While syncope can have many causes, abnormal heart rhythms are a significant cause of fainting and can increase the risk of serious complications if left undiagnosed.

Throughout the week, we highlighted the impact that recurrent syncope can have on daily life, education, employment, independence, mental wellbeing, and family life, as well as the impact it can have on healthcare services.

Thank you to everyone who supported World Heart Rhythm Week and helped us continue these important conversations. There is still more work to be done, but together we can drive greater awareness, understanding, and access to care.

35% of people between the ages of 35 and 60 have experienced at least one faint.

Take Fainting to Heart. There is no such thing as a simple faint. It can sometimes be linked to an underlying heart rhythm condition or syncope disorder.

Awareness matters. Understanding the symptoms could help save lives and lead to earlier diagnosis and treatment.
