We're helping amplify accessibility research! A Denison student is conducting research on the experience of text entry for those with motor impairments.

Participants will meet with the student and their advisor, do 2 text entry tasks, and then be asked about their experience in an interview. The session will last no longer than an hour.

They are looking for participants this summer who are:
- Older than 18
- Have motor impairments that impact their text entry
- Are self-guardians

Our Summer Campers at Finland Elementary had a very special guest today!😮🏀

Parker "Basketball" Jones showed our kiddos some tricks, got them involved, and had great life lessons to teach like being a good friend and showing kindness and care for others.

Everyone earned a pencil for trying and participating, plus a lucky few took home a basketball or a yeti plush for winning games! It was a great presentation to get our campers out of their shells and start having some summer fun!🌞🫶😎🏀

Our Finland Summer Camp IS BACK and they had quite the opening week!😁😎🌞

They had plenty of special visitors from the Columbus Zoo yesterday including a two-toed sloth, a leopard tortoise, a striped skunk, an African penguin and a corn snake!🤯🐢🐧🐍

They learned about each one's habitat, food, and tendencies in the wild. They even had the opportunity to pet and see them up close!

This is just one of the many fun activities for our friends this summer, so check back often to see what new adventure is happening in Summer Camp!

Last Thursday we said goodbye to some of our Early Intervention friends!😢🎓
We hosted our summer graduation at Stone Oak Retirement Community and celebrated our littlest Easterseals friends aging out of the Early Intervention program.

Today was the annual Ross County Adult Day Fish Fry!!🐟🍟 Our friends had a SPREAD: fried fish, fried chicken, shoestring fries, waffle cut fries, sweet potato fries, hush puppies, fruit salad, potato salad, cookies, cake, even a cherry pie!🍒🍒🍒

They got to enjoy it all and a BEAUTIFUL day was the cherry on top.🌞 A huge shoutout to our Adult Day staff in Ross county for putting together another top notch event. Everyone is excited for the 2027 edition!🥰
