Hilliard Avenue of Flags With your participation and support we aim to make every street an Avenue of Flags Pricing is $60 annually.

A program by Hilliard Optimist Club Youth Sports to promote patriotism and raise
funds to support recreational youth sports and academic programs for Hilliard Kids. We invite you to participate in a patriotic community service program called The Avenue of Flags. This Fundraiser helps us support our youth academic and sports programs as well as fund our
scholarship program for Hilliard graduating

seniors each year. We will place a 3′ by 5′ high quality American flag on a 10′ flagpole typically within 15″ of the curb in front of your home or business on the following five national holidays: Memorial Day Weekend, Flag Day June 14th, Independence Day, Labor Day Weekend and Veteran’s Day. We deliver and place your flag prior to the holiday, and we retrieve it after the holiday. We are responsible for replacement of any flag, and we store the flags between holidays. Encourage your neighbors to join too and turn your street into an “Avenue of Flags”. Remember all the proceeds go to support the youth of our community.

This year we will be giving $16,000 in scholarships to students graduating from Davidson, Darby and Bradley. Since 1989, we have given more than $800,000 in scholarships.

We are more than sports. We hold yearly essay and oritorical contests along with competitions for the deaf and hard of hearing. We have an annual Youth Appreciation Banquet where we also honor a Firefighter and Police Officer of the Year.

We love our community and want to congratulate all of the scholarship award winners and all of the graduating seniors of Hilliard. Good luck in your next chapter!
