THANK YOU, ALEX, AND MEDICAL CITY LEWISVILLE!

At Wednesday’s meeting, Gary Lewis recognized and thanked Alex Perdomo, Marketing & Social Media Director for Medical City Lewisville, for her tremendous support over the years in providing the banners and signage sponsored by Medical City for our Big Fore Golf Tournament.

We are incredibly grateful for Alex’s partnership, dedication, and willingness to help make our event a success year after year. As she moves on to new opportunities, we wish her nothing but the very best in her future endeavors.

A Night of Celebration, Recognition, and Leadership!

Last night, the Lewisville Noon Rotary Club gathered for our Annual Banquet to celebrate an incredible year of service and officially welcome our 2026-2027 President, Kathy Travis, and her new Board of Directors.

Outgoing President Leslie Thompson opened the evening by recognizing several outstanding Rotarians whose dedication and service have made a tremendous impact on our club and community:
💛 Greg Ballentine – Rotarian of the Year
💛 Steve Collins – Service Above Self Award
💛 Allison Stamey – Public Image Powerhouse Award
💛 David Burdick – Rotary Superstar Award
💛 Krista Hatley – Rookie of the Year Award
💛 Eyad Salloum – Legacy Award for his many years of leadership and service to LNR.

Dennis Song, our Paul Harris Foundation Chair presented Alex Buck and Steve Cox with Major Donor awards. Dennis is a major donor as well.

Leslie Thompson then recognized her current board members and thanked them for their support throughout the year before passing the gavel and presidential frame to incoming President Kathy Travis. Kathy expressed her appreciation for Leslie's outstanding leadership, and the room erupted in applause for a year filled with service, fellowship, and success. Kathy then presented Leslie with special gifts, including an engraved gavel commemorating her year as president.

A special highlight of the evening was recognizing our own Angie Cox, who will begin serving as Rotary District Governor on July 1. We are incredibly proud of Angie and excited to support her during this important year of Rotary leadership.
Kathy introduced her new board, thanked everyone for attending, and shared her excitement for the year ahead.

It was truly a special evening celebrating the people who make our club so strong. We are grateful for every Rotarian who has dedicated countless hours to service projects, community initiatives, and making a difference throughout the year.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients, thank you Leslie Thompson for an amazing year of leadership, and welcome Kathy Travis as we look forward to another outstanding year of Service Above Self!
