❤️ A Little Personal Update ❤️

I wanted to share a quick update since I know some of you may be wondering why I haven’t been as active lately.

Since my knee replacement in May, I’ve had ongoing issues with my kneecap not tracking correctly and popping out of place. After months of pain and additional testing, I found out today that I’ll need another surgery on October 30th, followed by at least two more months of recovery.

This has been a frustrating and exhausting journey, and I’m just ready to get back to normal life and doing what I love. I haven’t even been able to ride my horse since before my knee replacement!

In the meantime, I’m doing my best to keep things moving at the rescue while navigating this unexpected setback.

I would appreciate your prayers that surgery goes well, that this finally fixes the problem, and that recovery goes smoothly. ❤️🙏

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and continued support of God’s Grace Animal Rescue. It means more than you know! 🐴❤️

Guess what time of year it is? Pumpkin season! Please remember your local Rescues! Our piggie, horses, donkeys, goats and pigs love pumpkins. We will take all uncut pumpkins. Painted are fine just not the carved ones (they rot quickly).

Comment below if you want to drop off pumpkins

Look how big Chief is getting. He is growing leaps and bounds. He is definitely going to be a big boy!

Chief and Pearl this morning. Melissa from Holistic Equine Therapies (also a board member) came out to do a PEMF (Magnawave) for Pearl now that she is not so protective of the baby and is more open to human contact.

She did great. She was also eating her breakfast. The blue bag on her face holds her feed and is only on during feed time.

She is doing great and walked right up to Melissa today. She is starting to let her guard down and seek affection from people.

She has come so far!
