H.E.R.O.E.S. Care serves our military from pre-to post deployment; those actively serving and our Veterans. We invite you to learn more, have fun and possibly win a H.E.R.O.E.S. Care swag bag from us!

Four of these statements are true, but one isn’t. Guess which one is false and comment in the comments for a chance to win an HC swag bag, and share this post for an extra entry.

1) The H.E.R.O.E.S. Care Mission Depot offers regular shopping trips where everything is free for military members, veterans, and their families. They can choose new clothing from partner brands like Men’s Wearhouse, American Eagle, Jos. A. Bank, Coach, Bombas Socks, and more. After picking out clothes, they can also fill their baskets with a variety of household items, toiletries, lawn and auto care products, toys, diapers, cleaning supplies, and non-perishable groceries.

2) With the recent conflict with Iran, the demand for our services is growing rapidly. Unfortunately, donations have dropped, and we need your support to keep meeting these increasing needs.

3) We love teaming up with our local first responders and with a one-time $5 registration fee, they get notified whenever we have extra snacks, energy drinks, electrolyte drinks, sodas, and more available for pick up.

4) Every 80 minutes, a military hero takes their own life, and we’re determined to change that. Thanks to the generous support of Boeing, the Jefferson County Mental Health Board, and others, we’ve launched and expanded our counseling services with three in-house certified professionals who provide free or reduced-cost counseling for military individuals, groups, and families. We’re also beta testing support services for our first responders.

5) Our “Taste of Home” care packages are sent to troops serving overseas to remind them they’re not alone. They include items to bring a smile, personal hygiene products, puzzles, notebooks, books, sunglasses, fidget toys, beef jerky, shampoo, powdered drink mixes and much more. Each contains a card or drawing from someone who cares. You or your company/organization can underwrite as many as you’d like for just $50 each AND have the option to include your own personalized message of support. You might even hear back from the soldier themself, letting you know what a difference you made.
