Crop Hunger Walk High Point, NC

10/15/2026

Hunger is a growing crisis around the world. Today, 266 million people are facing acute hunger, and 2.8 billion people can't afford a healthy diet. That's why I'm walking in the CROP Hunger Walk. Every dollar raised helps support programs that fight hunger and provide food security both locally and globally.

Will you help me make a difference? Any gift, big or small, can have an impact.

We are less than a month away from the High Point CROP Hunger Walk, and we could not be more excited! As we get closer to Walk Day on Sunday, November 8, there are a few important things we hope you will do to help make this year’s Walk a success.

📣 Pick Up Your Free Promotional Materials

We hope you have already picked up your free promotional materials from West End Ministries. If you haven’t, now is the time! Materials are available for pickup during normal business hours, Monday through Wednesday. Take advantage of these resources to spread the word and encourage others to get involved.

👟 Have You Registered?

If you haven’t registered yet, today is the day! Visit www.crophungerwalk.org/highpointnc to register and get started.

Once you’re registered, invite your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, church members, and others in the community to join your team or support your fundraising goal. Every participant and every donation make a difference in the fight against hunger!

🥫 Join Our Food Drive for West End Ministries

This year, we are hosting a food drive to benefit West End Ministries. Please review the attached flyer for a list of needed nonperishable food items and bring your donations with you on Walk Day. Your generosity will help support individuals and families in our local community.

🤝 Sponsorship Opportunities Still Available

We are still accepting sponsors for this year’s Walk! Sponsorships help cover the overhead costs of putting on the event, allowing 100% of the donations raised through the Walk to go toward hunger relief.

If you or your business would like to sponsor the Walk, please contact Daniel Hall at [email protected] as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to fighting hunger in our community and around the world. Together, we can make a meaningful difference!

This is just one example of the amazing work that Church World Services (CWS) does. In case you do not know, a series of earthquakes hit Venezuela on June 24, 2026 causing devastation. Buildings collapsed, residents displaced and many lives lost. These families are in need of lifesaving supplies and support. When a disaster first happens, they help provide cleanup buckets, kits and vital supplies. CWS is mobilizing an active response, which will help:
-Provide equipment for engineers assessing building safety
-Strengthen local faith-based recovery networks providing shelter, food and emotional support
-Supply grants and support for small businesses to reopen
-Provide training and resilience resources for local partners

Hey Church Teams! Walk When It Works for Your Congregation!

We know Sunday mornings are busy, so the High Point CROP Hunger Walk is designed as a flexible walk experience.

The walk is open from 1:00–3:00 PM, but participants are welcome to arrive and begin walking anytime during that window.

The brief program and welcome remarks take place later in the afternoon, allowing churches time to finish services and travel to the event.
Whether your group arrives at 1:00, 1:30, or later, you'll still be part of the community effort to fight hunger locally and globally. We hope to see you there!
