Thank you to all of the volunteers that came out tonight for our Back to School Chalk the Walk event. From kids, to teens, to adults, they all left their creative mark on the sidewalks. Along the walk to school, there are a number of hopscotch games. We hope this puts a smile on the faces of the kids walking to school. We hope these words of encouragement and drawings are uplifting. Wishing all of our students and teachers a great year!💗🎉

SPECIAL MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Our special mission within Chalk the Walk was to leave uplifting, encouraging Get Well wishes for one of our beloved Crossing Guards, Bonnie, who is on her way to recovering from lung surgery. One of our volunteers, Karyn Gove, drew two of Bonnie’s favorite things: Highlander Cows and sunflowers. She did an amazing job! Maggie Hann created another sunflower and beautiful hearts. We miss seeing Bonnie at her post, and we wanted to let her know how much we love her, and we wish her all the best. You are strong, you are brave, you are loved!💗
