TORNADO WATCH

The US National Weather Service Kansas City Missouri has issued a TORNADO WATCH for our area until 9pm this evening. A WATCH means that the potential exists for storms to develop that may produce a tornado. Pay attention to the weather this evening and have more than one way to receive weather updates.

Many of you received a copy of this letter in recent days.
Unfortunately,the bond that was previously approved three times, will be on the ballot for a fourth time due to clerical errors.

Passing of the bond is important as the funds will provide the department with necessary upgrades. These upgrades will not only help the volunteers but will also help them serve the community.
