Thank you to Noah Kirby at SkullSplitters for letting us host the poker run at SkullSplitters. Highly recommend for any event. They are huge supports of our community.

Thank you to Jg Schilligo for telling the community he would match donations for us. This was a month or so ago. That was appreciated. Also a huge supporter for our community.

It was a beautiful day. We can’t wait to see you all next year!

TORNADO WATCH

The US National Weather Service Kansas City Missouri has issued a TORNADO WATCH for our area until 9pm this evening. A WATCH means that the potential exists for storms to develop that may produce a tornado. Pay attention to the weather this evening and have more than one way to receive weather updates.

Passing of the bond is important as the funds will provide the department with necessary upgrades. These upgrades will not only help the volunteers but will also help them serve the community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Toys for Tigers toy drive a success!
Because of your generosity, we were able to assist 8 families this year.

A special thank you to Dollar General and the Higbee Senior and Community Center for serving as donation collection sites. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Jg Schilligo and Randolph County Builders 4H Club, Wil Clark, Joe Roberts, Becky Bonuchi and Karisa Findling for their generous donations.

Our small town always shows up to support one another, and it truly is second to none.
