The Friends of Herriman Trails committee works in collaboration with Herriman City to help build and maintain the Herriman trails.

National Trails Day is on Saturday, June 6th!

We are teaming up with Herriman City to celebrate by helping cut/dig the new Stomp and Trot Trail!

Saturday, June 6, 2026
7:30 am- 11:00 am
Blackridge Reservoir Trailhead
15000 S Ashland Ridge Dr, Herriman, UT 84096

Please arrive by 7:30 am. Volunteers will sign a trail work waiver and then hike to the beginning of the trail. Please wear close-toed shoes, hat, sunblock, and gloves. Bring water, snacks, and tools. We will provide some tools, but garden rakes, pruners/lopers, and flat head shovels would be helpful to have too!

Herriman City will waive the weekend parking fee for all volunteers until 11 am.

We are so excited to announce that we are expecting a new trail! Our grant to build the Stampede Trail has been approved! We are so happy to have this trail project begin this summer! Thank you to the Trail Community for your donations! Thank you to Herriman City for your support of Friends of Herriman Trails! And thank you to the state of Utah Division of Outdoor Recreation!

We are still needing donations for our next trail project! Any little bit helps! Please donate at our link in the bio!
