Salt Lake Spartans Rugby Club

Salt Lake Spartans Rugby Club The Spartans were founded in 2010. The Spartans are composed of primarily first and second generation Polynesian Immigrants and Foreign Nationals.

The Spartans are known to be an exceptionally talented Adult Rugby Team. This team has recently been re-organized, and incorporated, in an effort to develop player athletes. The Spartans are now members of USA Rugby, membership being a distinction which provides legitimate opportunities to these players to advance in this Sport. These opportunities were previously unavailable. These Spartan player

s now have a clear pathway of opportunity to become members of; The USA National Team, The USA Olympic Rugby Team, The Regional Olympic Development Academy, The Rugby Utah Premiership Team, and the Rugby Utah Professional Team. In addition, we feel this standing expands our scope of abilities to promote this Sport to the Community, And, to promote individual Players amongst our Organization to Collegiate Scouts, Coaches, and Staff.
