Summer learning is even more memorable when our community comes together!

One of the highlights from our Leesburg Elementary summer class was a special visit from volunteer Chaske Lessley, who brought his saxophone to share with our students. Thank you, Chaske, and all of the incredible volunteers from the Young Men's Service League, for making learning fun and inspiring! We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Claude Moore Community Builders who had numerous volunteers join our classes this summer.

Fun fact: Our students were learning the letter X and its sound. Since it's hard to find words that start with X, we got creative and what better way to bring the lesson to life than with a saxophone? 🎶🎷

Together, we're building strong foundations for our youngest learners and empowering the next generation, one lesson at a time. If you're looking for ways to support AART, join us on the green to support children's literacy and help create brighter futures at the 15th Annual Tee Off for Children's Literacy Golf Tournament. AART was honored to participate in the Community Fun Day at Kingsley Commons!

The event was especially meaningful because AART's newest preschool class will soon call Kingsley Commons home. We were thrilled to enroll enough children to fill the class, and even start a waitlist!

A heartfelt thank you to Kingsley Commons for such a warm welcome. We can't wait to become part of your community! ❤️
