Penned by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts, The Minutes is a biting dark comedy and Hitchcockian mystery that follows a contentious small-town city council meeting, gradually exposing the horrifying, corrupt lengths to which a community will go to protect its deeply flawed history and origin stories.

Join us for a casual sit around and read the play while enjoying snacks, wine and the company of other folks in Reston's relaunched Scripts and Sips program!

Auditions are coming! Princess Winifred takes on the Imperious Queen Aggravain, and all over the hand of the meek but noble Prince Dauntless...or something like that. I don't remember this fairy tale entirely...there was a Princess...and a Pea...but . .. she swims the moat? We are pleased to announce that at our Annual Meeting on Saturday, five board members were elected for a three year term to the class of 2029. We thank Sara Birkhead for her several years as secretary of the Board and welcome Franklin Coleman to the role, along with returning officers Michael Barret Jones, Katie Pond and Douglas A. Rolston.

We are so proud of Olivia Daugherty and all of her accomplishments! She started classes with us in the spring of 2024 and then auditioned for our production of Fiddler on the Roof, was in She Kills Monsters this past winter and is in our upcoming production of Dear Evan Hansen! In addition, she's a remarkable volunteer who's always got a smile, a laugh and a really great attitude toward life! We wish her incredibly well as she goes off to college at VCU in the fall and hope she remembers us when she comes home!

We are very excited about this project: a new collaboration with South Lakes Theatre Arts to help provide theatre students with mentoring and opportunities to work alongside adults in an environment that's educational and entertaining! We applaud everyone who auditioned this week -- you made the work of our production team VERY difficult! Congratulations to the company of Dear Evan Hansen -- we look forward to seeing you all soon!
