ues identified through assembling a partnership of key organizations that serve the Mohawk Valley, focusing on change at the environmental and policy levels supported by evidence-based programming. These partnerships have implemented a variety of initiatives, which have all been designed to implement sustainable policy, system, and environmental changes, supported by complementary programs in the community. This year were making it fun to learn about oral health & introducing Brush Buddies!! An interactive dental program to help make learning about good oral hygiene a fun and memorable experience for people of all ages. Our areas of expertise are:

We're looking for vendors to join us for our FREE Learn & Play Wellness Fair for Kids on Friday, August 7, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at Arc Park in Herkimer.

If you have resources, activities, or information that would benefit local children and families, we'd love to have you table at this fun community event!

We’re excited to announce that applications for the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) Small Project Program are now OPEN! 🎉

Administered by HCIDA on behalf of the Village of Herkimer, this funding supports downtown improvements with awards of up to $100,000 per project, covering up to 75% of costs. A total of $600,000 is available through this reimbursement-based program.

Within the application, you will also find the DRI map. If you have any questions about eligibility or whether your project qualifies, please contact HCIDA.
