Today's the day!

Got bottles and cans piling up at home? Bring them to Arc Herkimer this morning and turn your empties into something amazing.

Every bottle and can donated supports our Self-Advocate Group and helps create opportunities for individuals to make a difference in our community.

Drop-off is happening today, June 6, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Arc Herkimer, 350 S. Washington St. (Bus Circle).

Clean out the garage, clear out the trunk, and stop by before noon. Every bottle and can counts!

We are so very proud of Catherine Loomis, Vice President of Community Engagement and Career Development, as she completed The Arc New York Leadership Institute this afternoon!

The 10-month program brought together executives from various Arc chapters. Together, they took part in experimental learning, visiting different chapters to build greater confidence and perspective in caring for the disability community.

“The Leadership Institute provided me with an amazing opportunity to hone my leadership skills, while meeting other leaders to build a supportive network of talented colleagues,” says Catherine.

Residents spent a beautiful day at Marcy’s Touch a Truck event, where Bill was thrilled to get in a truck and shoot off a firehouse with a real life firefighter! Dan loves tractors and was happy to climb aboard, Win couldn’t wait to try out a fire truck, and the ladies relaxed with their new hats!
