Our adventures aren’t always in the community, sometimes they’re in the classroom! This week, cooking class learned how to prepare and jar cucumber relish.

Along the way, they practiced kitchen skills, worked together, and got to enjoy the results of their hard work!

Leadership is stronger when we learn from one another.

Our President/CEO, Lorene Bass, recently joined Next - Herkimer County to share Arc Herkimer’s mission, programs, organizational model, and the leadership approach that has helped shape our growth & success.

The conversation brought together Executive Directors and organizational leaders representing nine nonprofits across the Mohawk Valley and beyond, creating an opportunity to exchange ideas and explore what it takes to build sustainable organizations.

We’re proud to share our experience, while contributing to the continued strength of the nonprofit community around us!

A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful Circle of Friends & other supporters who joined us last night for a special sneak peek of the Kucerak Event Center at MV Golf & Event Center!

It was so much fun seeing everyone experience the recreation space with the golf simulators, co****le, and darts. Our bridal suite offered pampering with hair & makeup services and chair massages.

And we couldn’t give everyone a true taste of what the Kucerak Event Center has to offer without sampling the menu and exploring the venue!

More than anything, we loved having the opportunity to share what we’ve been working on with community members who have supported and encouraged us along the way. Thank you for celebrating this exciting new chapter!

Yesterday was a beautiful day for the fifth year of The Arc New York Golf Tournament! We welcomed nearly 90 golfers from chapters across New York State to the MV Golf & Event Center.

This annual tournament is a chance for chapters to connect for a day of friendly competition & camaraderie, celebrating the important work we do each day.
