Good morning, sweet friends.
As I prepared today's devotional, I was reminded that the greatest leadership opportunities God gives us often happen behind the walls of our own homes. Before we influence a community, a church, or a nation, He calls us to love, serve, and lead well at our own family altar.

Today's message from Humble Altars, Holy Legacy explores how righteous leadership begins at home and how healing hearts creates a legacy that can impact generations.

✨ Today's Challenge: Set aside 10-15 minutes to gather your family, share one thing God is highlighting in your heart, and pray together. If you're single or an empty nester, encourage a younger family, a friend, or a neighbor with a prayer and a word of hope. Small moments of intentional connection can build a legacy that lasts for generations.

I'd love to hear from you—what is one practical way you're strengthening your family altar this week? Share in the comments below.

Good morning, sweet friends!

Today we're climbing the Mountain of Education and returning to God's original blueprint: the home. Before there were schools, lesson plans, or classrooms, there was the family table, the family altar, and parents faithfully pouring God's truth into the hearts of their children.

As culture grows louder, our homes must become stronger foundations of faith, wisdom, and discipleship. Small daily moments in God's Word can create a legacy that impacts generations.

I pray this devotion encourages you to reclaim the holy calling of teaching truth in your home and reminds you that your faithful investment today may become someone else's testimony tomorrow.

The Future Begins at the Family Table
"The future of every mountain begins at the family table."

As I sit quietly this morning, reflecting on my son's birthday and the goodness of God through the years, my heart is drawn to something deeper than celebration. I find myself looking across the landscape of our nation, our churches, our communities, and even our own homes, asking a simple but profound question:

What are we building?

The Lord keeps bringing me back to the same answer. If we want to strengthen the mountains of influence around us, we must first strengthen the core within us. Before we influence culture, we must influence our homes. Before we transform communities, we must tend the altars in our own living rooms. Before we call the world higher, we must allow God to search our own hearts.

Believer, this is not the hour to drift. This is not the season to become distracted by lesser things. The Father is calling His people to rise and become who He created them to be. He is calling husbands to lead with humility, wives to flourish in grace, parents to disciple intentionally, grandparents to leave a legacy of faith, and families to become living testimonies of His restoring power.

The enemy has worked tirelessly to weaken the family because he understands something many have forgotten: the family is the training ground of faith, character, courage, and Kingdom influence. If he can fracture the core, he can weaken the culture. But if God's people will return to the altar, rebuild what has been neglected, and strengthen what remains, generations can be transformed.

Today is a holy invitation.

An invitation to search our hearts.

An invitation to mend what is broken.

An invitation to speak blessing where there has been silence.

An invitation to become intentional where we have become comfortable.

An invitation to stand firmly in the place God has assigned us.
We may not be able to change the whole world today, but we can strengthen the core God entrusted to us. We can pray. We can forgive. We can love more deeply. We can gather around the table. We can build altars of worship and surrender within our homes.

And when we do, the ripple effects reach far beyond our front doors.

So today, as we climb the Mountain of Family together, let us answer the call of heaven. Let us rise as men and women of God. Let us strengthen the core of our lives. Let us build homes where Christ is honored, where love is practiced, where truth is spoken, and where future generations learn what it means to walk with the Lord.

The future of every mountain begins at the family table.

If this message speaks to your heart, I invite you to join me as we journey together through faith, prayer, family, and Kingdom living. I would love to connect with you and hear how God is working in your life.

Together, let's strengthen the core, restore the altar, and leave a legacy that points generations back to Jesus.
May we be found faithful.

In a world filled with distractions, God is calling families back to the place where faith was always meant to begin—at home.

The strongest churches are built upon strong families. Around kitchen tables, in living rooms filled with prayer, and through everyday moments of worship, Scripture, and fellowship, a holy legacy is formed one generation at a time.

When we make our homes a place where Christ is honored, children learn what faith looks like, hearts are strengthened, and revival begins to take root. The family is not simply part of God's plan—it is one of His greatest instruments for passing truth from generation to generation.

Today, let's reclaim our homes as sacred ground, our tables as places of fellowship, and our families as living testimonies of God's goodness.

💛 "Revival Begins at Home."

🏡 Humble Altars, Holy Legacy

As we continue our journey through 30 Days of Humility: Learning to Lean on Him, Day 14 reminds us that the prayers whispered through tears today may become the testimony your grandchildren tell tomorrow.

Every family has a story. Some chapters are marked by joy, while others carry the weight of heartbreak, distance, and broken dreams. Yet God is still in the business of restoration.

This week, as we reflect on Christ as Head of the Home, we're reminded that prayer is never wasted. A praying mother, a faithful father, a humble family altar, and a home surrendered to God can become the very place where healing begins and generations are restored.

Swipe through these images and be encouraged: what prayer plants, God restores. No family is beyond the reach of God's grace, and no prodigal is beyond the call of His love.

Have you ever looked around your home and wondered...

"How did we get so busy... yet so disconnected?"

Maybe it's not a lack of love.

Maybe we've just drifted from the One who was always meant to be at the center.

Lately, I've been thinking about how much changes when a family pauses long enough to pray together. Not perfectly. Not with fancy words. Just real people bringing real hearts before a real God.

Today's devotion is about rebuilding the family altar and making a fresh choice to put Christ back where He belongs—as Head of the home.

If your heart has been searching for more peace, more unity, more purpose, or simply more of God's presence in your family, I believe this one is for you. ❤️

Friends, can I encourage you today?

In a world filled with noise, distractions, and competing voices, God's Word was never meant to be an occasional visitor in our homes—it was meant to be the foundation. Today's devotion reminds us that the greatest legacy we can leave our children and grandchildren is a home where Christ's truth is lived, spoken, and loved every day.

No matter where your family is today, it's never too late to begin building a legacy of faith one Scripture, one prayer, and one conversation at a time.

Good morning, friends. ☀️

As I was writing today's devotion, I found myself reflecting on how easy it is for good things to slowly become the main thing.

Sports. Work. Activities. Success. Busy schedules.

None of those things are wrong, but when they begin directing our lives instead of Christ, we can find ourselves exhausted, disconnected, and missing the peace God intended for our homes.

Today's devotion from Humble Altars, Holy Legacy reminds us that obedience is more than following rules—it's learning to trust God's loving order. When Christ is truly the Head of our home, every part of life begins to align. Even the ball field, the car rides, the tournaments, the practices, and the everyday moments become opportunities to honor Him.

One line that stayed with me:

"Before the Game, We Bow to the King."

That simple truth changes everything.

I'd love to hear from you today:

👉 What is one way your family works to keep Christ at the center, even during busy seasons?
