Good afternoon,
The Belleville Henderson team will compete on field 9B. The field is located near the Bridgeport Rod & Gun Club building. See map attached for specific location. They have a small parking lot near the field, but most likely it’s best to park in the large parking area to get out once we’re done. The address for the facility is 7400 Bull Street, Bridgeport, New York. Please use the driveway allocated for entering the facility, not the entrance at the bend in the road.
Please be on site by 8:30 am so we can get started on time. Traffic will be crazy from 8 am to 9 am as 600+ students athletes, along with coaches and family will be entering the facility so be patient. All help for the tournament are volunteers so be respectful.
I have 30 boxes of 12 gauge and 30 boxes of 20 gauge shells for our 11 athletes. Each student will have access to four boxes provided by the coaches just before each round.
They are going to be Top Gun shells, if you prefer to use your own shells please bring them. Suggest you bring a box of shells as a backup. Please bring your primary firearm that you have used all season.
I will be on site by 7:00 am to acquire the space needed for the team. Thank you to everyone for pitching in for a great day of trap.
Absolutely must wear your school shirt for the competition, along with required eye and hearing protection. We will be sharing the field with three other schools, so be aware of where you place your firearm at all times.
It’s expected to be a warm day so sun screen and bug spray are recommended. I will have a case of water for hydration. Also bring chairs to relax!
Lastly, we will have our 12th person looking over us as Nick will be cheering us on. He always brought his best to states.
