A GREAT NIGHT FOR FUN!!
We had a great evening wrapping up the Fall 2026 campaign for the Belleville Henderson Trap Team!
We played some games and smashed some pumpkins! Congrats to Braeden and Wyatt for winning our two rounds of Annie Oakley!
The smiles and laughter from the athletes enjoying themselves makes our night as coaches.
A huge thanks to Assistant Coach Marcie Matthews for helping me out throughout the season, you were an amazing help!
To the parents, family and friends that support the program, we truly appreciate it.
A big thanks to Mr. Matthews for cooking the hamburgers and hotdogs, and North Branch Farms for supplying our pumpkins.
Looking forward to our Fall 2027 season!

FUN DAY - FALL 2026

The Belleville Henderson Trap Team will be getting together for FUN DAY from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 21, at the Henderson Fish & Game Club.

We will be playing some games and smashing some pumpkins under the lights. Please let one of the coaches know if you're attending.

That's a wrap on Fall Trap Season!
We have a great group of "kids" on our BHCS Trap Team. They have all improved so much, even in just these past 5 weeks!

Coach Winters is wanting to have another Fun Night this year. If you don’t remember or were unable to attend last year, the kids played a couple rounds of Annie Oakley and then got to use some pumpkins as their targets.

When: Wednesday, October 21st
Where: Henderson Game Club
Time: TBD - Evening

NRA GRANT APPLICATION SUBMITTED!
The Belleville Henderson Scholastic Trap Team has applied for a Friends of NRA Grant for the 2027 season to cover our am******on and safety gear.
This is a competitive grant program, so we hope to be successful to help defray a major cost of our program for our student athletes. The grant application is about $4,800, if they cover the entire request. We find out in early 2027 about the outcome of the grant.
The team has received a few NRA grants over the years to help our program, and we’re truly appreciative for them to help our program grow.

EXCELLING THROUGH ADVERSITY
This week, we had several new personal bests and milestones established….some while fighting injuries and soreness. The resilience shown by our team to overcome adversity is truly remarkable. The athletes didn’t sit back, they stepped up and brought their best. One more week left!
