We have had quite the busy spring!
Our first ever ‘Be the Good’ kindness fundraiser was a huge success, resulting in over $1,700 being raised! That worked out to about 200 acts of kindness being completed throughout community. A huge thank you to Raymour & Flanigan for hosting us when we wrapped up the campaign for a craft and some treats. AMAZING work everyone! It’s truly inspirational what you can accomplish when you decide to Be the Good you wish to see and be kind. Big CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs McDermott’s class who completed the most acts of kindness and raised the most money and won themselves tickets to the Thompson Park Zoo! We hope you have a wonderful time!
We are also pleased to announce that we are recipients of a $1,500 grant from the North Country Spouses Club. This grant will go towards a refresh of one of everyone’s favorite spaces, the school library!
And finally, we recently partnered with Mrs. Oakes and Mr. Truax to sell some snacks during their first ever Science Fair! It was amazing to see the questions that the kids came up with to solve, and how their brains went about doing it. It was such a fun experience to be a part of!
Thank you for all of your continued support, whether you have been with us for years, or are just joining us. As the year winds down, we have so many successes to reflect upon and be thankful for. We have a few more things coming up, and then a much anticipated summer break! Then we will be back at it in the fall.
