This past Sunday I had the absolute best time with Queen Creations hosting my very first “Crowns and Cookies” fundraiser event!!💗🍪

Everyone looked stunning in their beautiful princess gowns, I loved getting to interact and decorate cookies with all the gorgeous princesses that were able to attend!👑🍪🙌🏻

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported! Hopefully planning another fun even with Queens Creations soon! Be sure to check out her summer baking series she is hosting this summer!!! You may just see a familiar face at some of her classes😉

Today my teen Miss Eastern Panhandle's Teen and I got to do the “Doggy Day Out” with our local humane society! This program is so neat it allows the pups at the shelter to have a day out of the shelter! In return the participant shares how the pup did on their day out so the shelter can communicate that to the community and potentially their new families!

We got to take this sweetheart “Robin” out for a day! She enjoyed the car ride so much and was as calm as can be! We treated her with a pup cup (small portion of vanilla ice cream with a dog treat😉) at the ice cream stop! If I didn’t already have my own pup I absolutely would’ve taken her home, she stole my heart completely💗

She was so excited to get out and she was so beyond friendly! Robin is available for adoption at the Berkeley County Humane Society WV

We also got to donate some blankets and towels to the humane society! They are always looking for things to provide their furry friends! Be sure to check them out and if you can donate!! I’m sure the pups and kitties would very much appreciate it! ❤️🐈🐶

Saturday I had the pleasure of attending the “Battle at Berkeley” livestock show!

Something you may not know about me is that I used to show livestock myslef! I started with goats, and then came the sheep, and then came the cattle! Growing up in a program like 4H gave me a sense of community involvement, a sense of respect and appreciation, and most importantly the roots of learning that hard work and dedication does pay off, much like the Miss America Organization!

I got to work with some of my favorite kiddos who I have had the honor of mentoring last year and this year, it’s so incredible to see how much they have grown in just a year! Programs much like 4H, FFA, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and even Miss America Little Sisters are so important in our community, they are stepping stones in building the understanding of good values and character in our youth.

Congratulations to these 2 kiddos for working hard and never backing down from a challenge!
The improvement in both of them just from last year has absolutely blown me away!! And you’ll get to see more of Liv and I in time to come as she is so excited to be one of my little sister this year! 😉 (proper introduction for Olivia later!)

So Miss Eastern Panhandle, what do you do on your free time?

Well right now, I go straight from work back home have about 15 minutes to eat dinner and I head to the Apollo Civic Theatre! My 5 lovely costars and I have been working hard since March for our upcoming production of “Steel Magnolias” This little group of 5 ladies (plus our director and manager) have become my backbone! It’s so crazy that over 2 months ago I had no idea who they were!! I have always loved theatre have been apart of it since I was 9 years old! This is one of my very first main roles in a “adult show”. I could not be anymore proud of how far our cast has come and personally how far I’ve come! I encourage everyone to come see “Steel Magnolias” at the “Apollo Civic Theatre” the last 2 weekends in May! It it sure to be a hilarious, fun, friendship filled and emotional show! (Of course with lots of pink😉💗)
