🤠🎶 Get ready to kick up your boots with Buckshot Bully! 🎶🤠

Our Boots, Bling & BBQ fundraiser is bringing the country western fun, and you won’t want to miss a night of dancing, music, BBQ, raffles, vendors, and community spirit!

Grab your friends, put on your favorite boots, add a little bling, and come dance the night away on Friday, September 18th from 6-9pm at Zachary's Red Barn, located at 16849 S. Cedar Rd. in Homer Glen, to the sounds of Buckshot Bully at Zachary’s Red Barn. Whether you’re a line dancing pro or just ready to have a great time, this is the perfect night to let loose for a wonderful cause.

Tickets include Beer & Wine from 6-9pm.Funds raised will support Good Shepherd Center’s In-Home Respite Program, helping provide parents and guardians with the gift of rest, time to recharge, and support when they need it most.

🚨⚾ Battle of the Badges Update ⚾🚨

Due to the recent storms and the impact they have had on our community, Good Shepherd Center’s Battle of the Badges 16" Softball Tournament, originally scheduled for August 22nd at Don Burns Park in Oak Forest, is being postponed.

A new tournament date will be announced in the coming days for Spring 2027.

We want to thank the City of Oak Forest, our participating and interested police and fire departments, and all nearby departments who have supported and considered joining this special charity event. Your commitment to community, service, and friendly competition means so much to Good Shepherd Center and the children and families we serve.

We would also like to thank our generous sponsors, including our Lights & Sirens Sponsor, Formed Space, LLC, and all those who have stepped up to support the Battle of the Badges. Your sponsorship helps make this event possible and continues to support Good Shepherd Center’s programs and services for children of all abilities.

We look forward to bringing everyone together in Spring 2027 for a fun-filled day of softball, community spirit, hometown heroes, and bragging rights for the 3-Foot Traveling Trophy!
