While so many dogs come and go, sweet Jelly Bean is still waiting for someone to choose her.

Jelly Bean’s story is one that many people won’t forget. She was found bleeding in a Modesto park after being brutally stabbed and left alone. No witnesses ever came forward, and to this day, nobody knows who hurt her or why.

She could have died that day.

Instead, shelter staff, rescue partners, veterinarians, supporters, and one very special foster came together to save her life. While Jelly Bean was fighting to survive in the hospital, her future foster was searching for answers, trying to find where she had gone so she could help. The moment Jelly Bean was cleared to leave medical care, she had a safe and loving home waiting for her.

Despite everything she has endured, Jelly Bean has never stopped loving people.

She is a short and stocky bully mix with a heart of gold. She is affectionate, gentle, sweet, and loves being around her people. Every day she continues to show us just how resilient and forgiving dogs can be.

It breaks our hearts that a dog who survived such unimaginable cruelty is still waiting for her forever family.

Jelly Bean didn’t give up when her life was hanging by a thread. She fought to survive. Now she just needs someone willing to give her the happy ending she deserves.

🚨 CHOWCHILLA, CALIFORNIA — EXTREMELY URGENT 🚨

This sweet puppy urgently needs a safe place to go TODAY or TOMORROW.

His owner is facing homelessness and is desperately trying to find help before he ends up on the streets. He appears to be a Shepherd mix, possibly a Dutch Shepherd, and is approximately 11 weeks old.

We are urgently looking for:
🐾 A foster home
🐾 A rescue willing to take him in

Please do not let this puppy become homeless through no fault of his own. He deserves safety, stability, and a chance at a happy future.

URGENT FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED FOR CEDAR – Santa Barbara, CA

Please help us share Cedar’s story

Cedar is a gentle 60-pound boy rescued years ago with his seven siblings through PackLyfe Rescue. Every sibling found a home except Cedar and it’s not his fault.

After being moved around over the years, Cedar still needs a stable, patient home where he can finally feel safe and loved. He urgently needs a foster or forever home due to changes in his current situation.

Cedar loves other dogs, especially huskies, and would do best with a confident canine companion. He’s shy at first but incredibly sweet and loyal once he trusts you. Watching him overcome past trauma and learn to enjoy walks and affection has been amazing.

Cedar would thrive with:

• Someone willing to let him build trust at his own pace

💛 Meet Tyla
Looking for a Foster or Forever Home 💛

Tyla has been waiting far too long for someone to choose her. Tyla is a staffy who is maybe about six years old. She spayed, vaccinated, and chipped.

She was rescued from Lancaster Animal Shelter in January 2025 after being placed on the red list. Just before Christmas, she was overlooked and nearly euthanized to make space for dogs displaced by the fires. Thankfully, she was saved at the very last moment—but what Tyla still needs is a place to truly call home.

Tyla isn’t the dog who demands attention the second you meet her. She’s the dog who quietly steals your heart. The kind of companion who just wants to be near her person and feel safe again.

When you look into her eyes, you can tell she’s loved before. She knows what it feels like to have a family, and she’s been patiently waiting for that connection ever since.

Handsome Benny Boy is doing well! ❤️

A huge thank you to Wilton Animal Rescue for stepping in and finding Benny after he got out from his foster home. We are so grateful for everyone who helped bring him to safety.

Now Benny is looking for a new foster or forever home! He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and ready for his next chapter.

Benny loves other dogs and is a gentle soul who tends to keep to himself at first. He has spent most of his life fending for himself after growing up as a puppy on the streets of Compton and never having a real home of his own. Adjusting to home life has been a big change, but he has come a long way thanks to the love and patience of his fosters and transport volunteers.

If you can open your home and heart to Benny, even temporarily, please apply! He deserves the chance to finally know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and part of a family.

🎉 Congratulations Abby! Officially Adopted!

If you remember Abby’s story, she was found running the streets of Skid Row with her mom and siblings a place where no dog should ever have to survive. After they were rescued, multiple rescues stepped up to help. Thankfully, Abby and her mom came into our care, while her siblings were taken in by another rescue.

Abby was born with a deformed front leg. At first, it was stable and did not require amputation. Unfortunately, an accident occurred when her leg was accidentally caught and injured, leaving no choice but to remove it. We were overwhelmed by the love and support shown for Abby. Thanks to our incredible village of supporters, the funds for her surgery were raised almost immediately, allowing her to get the care she needed right away.

Watching everyone come together for this sweet little girl reminded us just how much compassion exists in the rescue community. Abby recovered beautifully, and while it took a little longer than expected to find her perfect match, it was absolutely worth the wait.

Today, Abby is living her best life with a wonderful forever family who adores her. She now has dog siblings, kids to grow up with, and a home filled with love. 🏡❤️

A huge thank you to her first foster family for stepping up and helping save her life, and to her long-term foster family for loving her, caring for her, bringing her to events, and helping her find the perfect forever home. We couldn’t have done it without you.
