Our beautiful Miss Fort Hays just finished interviewing!

Interview Day! 🤍✅

Today, I completed what is probably the most challenging phase of competition! The funny thing is, interview is one of the biggest reasons I joined the Miss Kansas Organization in the first place. I wanted to grow professionally, become a stronger public speaker, and gain confidence in social and professional settings. Looking back at where I started, I’m proud to say I’ve seen growth in all of those areas this year.

My community service initiative, Beyond the Bubble, is all about stepping outside of comfort zones and today, I had to take my own advice.

I’ll be honest: I cried before my interview because I was so nervous. But when I walked out of that room, I felt something even stronger than nerves, I felt proud! Proud of the work I’ve put in. Proud of how far I’ve come. Proud that I showed up, pushed through the fear, and gave it my best.

Growth doesn’t happen inside our comfort zones, and today was a reminder that sometimes the moments that challenge us most are the ones that help us grow the most. ✨👑

Day 2 at Miss Kansas! 👑✨

Yesterday morning, we had our Women's Empowerment Workshop hosted at the Vernon Filley Art Museum! It was truly an honor to hear from the panel of accomplished women in the Pratt community. They reminded us and instilled just how powerful women can be! By walking through the art exhibits, one thing captured my eye.

“QUEENS: Women, Power, and the Performance of Beauty.”

I loved how those words captured the strength, influence, and individuality of women while challenging us to think deeper about how we define beauty and leadership. It was an inspiring experience, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from such incredible women and gain wisdom that I will carry with me long after Miss Kansas. 🩷👑
