Day 3 has been rocking and rolling! Had some special folks come by to paint the various colors in the flag that represent first responders, military, and veterans. Thank you all for making a dream come true!

So grateful for Jimmy's Old Town Tavern and Wholeheart Murals for making this happen!

🇺🇸🎨 Tomorrow, this wall begins its transformation.

Right now, it’s just a blank wall along Jimmy’s Memory Lane…

But starting tomorrow, it will become something much bigger — a tribute to the first responders, military members, veterans, their families, and the community members who have helped shape the story of Jimmy's Old Town Tavern and the people who call it home.

Over the next week, color, memories, and stories will replace this bare wall as many special people leave their mark on what will become the Memory Lane Mural.

Every brushstroke will represent service, sacrifice, resilience, friendship, and community. Together, we will create something that honors the past, celebrates the present, and inspires future generations.

We can’t wait to watch this vision come to life and share the journey with all of you.

Stay tuned… tomorrow, the first brushstrokes are painted, and history begins. ❤️💙💚💛🤍🩶

A special thank you to Jimmy, Maureen Donahue Cirrito, Chuck Brown, Meghan Bogue, our sponsors, volunteers, partners, and everyone who has supported this project from the very beginning. This mural would not be possible without you.

Dr. P spoke briefly about the SGB shot to a group of local first responder peer team members. She is a blessing to say the least.

We, MEG, are helping with the cost of these shots through Dr. P in Northern VA for FRs, vets, their family members, and survivors of sexual and domestic violence who are in NEED. There is a process so if you are living with PTSD, nightmares, anxiety, and pain, etc. I suggest you watch the full news story first (link in comments) and then message us for more info.

This was a game changer for me (Meg)!

The owner and amazing seamstress Allison of Storybook Stitches is one of our HUGE sponsors and donors! She has created and handmade numerous uniform bags and purses for survivors of fallen officers.

Her shop is having a huge SALE - 50% off!

Check it out and pay it forward because she certainly has! Additionally, she is a spouse of a retired combat veteran - need I say more?

A retired local deputy’s house burned down to the ground in the middle of the night. Thankfully his alarm went off and he got out with only what he was wearing.

He lost everything - house, property, cars, and his beloved cat.

Please consider donating to help him rebuild his life:

Dan DePalma, a retired Fairfax County, Virginia Law Enforcement Officer, suffered a devastating loss on March 21, 2026, when a catastrophic house fire destroyed everything he owned. His home, personal belongings, vehicles, and even his beloved pet was lost in the tragedy. The insurance coverage fall...

MEG is sharing this fundraiser in honor of Officer Terry Bennett of the Washington Metropolitan Police Dept. Terry made the ultimate sacrifice, and his wife and child now need the support of the community he served so selflessly.

The owners of Heroic Thread, running this fundraiser are dear friends of mine and both DC first responders (Cop & FF). This effort comes straight from the heart and directly supports Officer Bennett’s family.

If you’re able, please consider purchasing a shirt or hoodie — and sharing this post. This is how we take care of our own.

Rest easy, Officer Bennett. We have the watch. 💙🚔

Today is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

Behind every badge is a human being—someone who shows up on our worst days, runs toward danger, and carries the weight of what most will never see.

To the officers who serve with integrity, compassion, courage, and heart—thank you.
Thank you for the long hours, missed holidays, sleepless nights, and the sacrifices your families make alongside you.

At MEG, we see you. We support you. And we will always stand with you—on the job and when it’s time to ask for help.

đź’™ Stay safe. You are appreciated. You are not alone.

Happy 20💲26! 🎉

What better way to start the New Year than launching MISSION 962.

đź’™ $26 helps fly a first responder or veteran to mental health treatment
❤️ 20 donors × $26 = 1 one-way flight
đź’› Each flight costs about $500
đź’š 962 donors Ă— $26 = 50 flights

This year, MEG will provide flights for 40+ heroes who need help getting healthy.

Real impact. Be one of the 962. đź’™
