Day 3 has been rocking and rolling! Had some special folks come by to paint the various colors in the flag that represent first responders, military, and veterans. Thank you all for making a dream come true!

So grateful for Jimmy's Old Town Tavern and Wholeheart Murals for making this happen!

🇺🇸🎨 Tomorrow, this wall begins its transformation.

Right now, it’s just a blank wall along Jimmy’s Memory Lane…

But starting tomorrow, it will become something much bigger — a tribute to the first responders, military members, veterans, their families, and the community members who have helped shape the story of Jimmy's Old Town Tavern and the people who call it home.

Over the next week, color, memories, and stories will replace this bare wall as many special people leave their mark on what will become the Memory Lane Mural.

Every brushstroke will represent service, sacrifice, resilience, friendship, and community. Together, we will create something that honors the past, celebrates the present, and inspires future generations.

We can’t wait to watch this vision come to life and share the journey with all of you.

Stay tuned… tomorrow, the first brushstrokes are painted, and history begins. ❤️💙💚💛🤍🩶

Dr. P spoke briefly about the SGB shot to a group of local first responder peer team members. She is a blessing to say the least.

We, MEG, are helping with the cost of these shots through Dr. P in Northern VA for FRs, vets, their family members, and survivors of sexual and domestic violence who are in NEED. There is a process so if you are living with PTSD, nightmares, anxiety, and pain, etc. I suggest you watch the full news story first (link in comments) and then message us for more info.

A retired local deputy’s house burned down to the ground in the middle of the night. Thankfully his alarm went off and he got out with only what he was wearing.

He lost everything - house, property, cars, and his beloved cat.

MEG is sharing this fundraiser in honor of Officer Terry Bennett of the Washington Metropolitan Police Dept. Terry made the ultimate sacrifice, and his wife and child now need the support of the community he served so selflessly.
