⭐ 66 Stars. 66 Heroes. 66 Chances to Change a Life. ⭐

Right now, 10 medium and 56 small stars on the Memory Lane Mural are still waiting to be sponsored.

But they’re more than stars.

Each star represents one flight for a first responder, veteran, or eligible family member to reach inpatient mental health treatment.

One sponsorship.
One flight.
One person getting the chance to heal.

In 2025, MEG provided 48 one-way flights to treatment facilities across the country. We purchase one-way tickets because every person’s journey is different, and we never know how long treatment will last.

In just the first month and a half of this year, we flew 15 heroes before rising airfare costs forced us to temporarily pause the program.

Now, thanks to this incredible mural and the generosity of amazing donors in our community, those flights are taking off again. ❤️✈️

Every sponsored star means a hero in crisis has a better chance of reaching the life-changing care they desperately need.

I'm excited to announce that I'm officially putting together my Power of Perseverance: From Captivity to Purpose Speaking & Book Signing Tour.

As schools, businesses, churches, conferences, veterans organizations, and community groups begin planning their fall and upcoming event calendars, I wanted to let everyone know that I'm now scheduling speaking engagements.

If your organization is looking for a keynote speaker who can share a message of resilience, perseverance, leadership, and finding purpose through adversity, I'd be honored to be part of your event.

Today we recognize the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a landmark civil rights law that opened doors and expanded opportunities for millions of Americans with disabilities.

We're proud to support those who serve our communities by providing highly trained service dogs that help foster greater independence, confidence, and quality of life for our veterans and first responders.

Today we celebrate accessibility, inclusion, and the incredible partnerships between service dogs and the heroes whose lives they change every day. ❤️

Today was amazing, to say the least. 🩶💛🤍❤️💙💚

Seeing this mural officially unveiled was a moment I’ll never forget.

Thank you to every single person who played a part in this project—whether you sponsored a piece of the mural, picked up a paintbrush, volunteered your time, shared a post, or simply believed in this vision from the very beginning.

This mural is so much more than paint on a wall. It is a lasting tribute to service, sacrifice, resilience, and community. It stands as a reminder of the incredible people who have dedicated their lives to serving others, and it exists because of all of you.

What makes this project even more meaningful is what it will continue to do long after the paint has dried. The funds raised through this mural will make a tremendous impact for first responders, veterans, military members, their families, and survivors of sexual and domestic violence when they need help the most. Because of your generosity, lives will be changed, hope will be restored, and people will receive support during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Nothing we do is for recognition.

Many times, we never hear back from the individual, family, department, or organization we’ve helped—and that’s okay.

It has never been about the thank-yous, the publicity, or the acknowledgment. It’s about showing up when people need support and doing what we can to make a difference.

For years, our motto has been simple:

“Do something good today.”

Those four words continue to guide everything we do. Because sometimes the greatest impact comes from acts of kindness that no one else ever sees.

There is something quietly powerful about doing a good deed that no one ever traces back to you.

Not every act of kindness needs an audience. Some of the most meaningful things we can do in this life are the things that never earn applause, recognition, or a thank you. Hold a door for someone. Leave an encouraging note. Pay for a stranger's coffee. Offer help when it is needed and then simply move on.

When we stop keeping score and start giving freely, we discover that kindness has a way of changing us just as much as it changes the person receiving it. A small act may seem insignificant in the moment, but you never know what burden someone is carrying or how much a simple gesture might brighten a difficult day.

So here's a challenge: do one kind thing today and tell no one. Let it remain your little gift to the world.
