It is such an honor once again to have the ability to award these scholarships year after year. Our 2026 Scholarship Recipients inspired us through their thoughtful essays, and we are in awe of each of them. Each of these recipients embodies strength, determination, love for their respective sports and life itself, we are honored to be able to be a small part of each of their journeys and next steps in their athletic endeavors.

We were able to award a total of $12,000 through this year’s scholarships and each recipient

Thank you to all who support our mission and who continue to be a part of Alex’s Army so that together we can make a difference in the lives of children (and athletes) whose lives are forever changed by a childhood cancer diagnosis!

From all of us at Alex’s Army Childhood Cancer Foundation – Congratulations again Ella, Weston, and Emmitt – we wish you the very best each and every day and cannot wait to see the awesomeness in your future!!

We had a great visit last night at Inova Children's bringing Breakfast for Dinner and lots of goodies!

Special thank you to our Driving for a Cure Golf Participants & Thrivent Financial - Dulles Group for providing 20 bags and lots of Gator Golf games for the kiddos and their families - they were a big hit!

It’s always so special to get to spend this time loving on these sweet families! Helping the kids fill bags for their brothers and sisters is one of our favorite things - their faces are so cute how they light up when they are picking items to gift.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our mission over the years ~ it’s such a blessing truly 💛🙏

We are so excited for our 11th Annual Driving for a a Cure Golf Tournament ⛳️ coming up for MANY reasons but especially LOVE that this year our Tournament Sponsor is taking it one step further and will have a Thrivent Action Team onsite to help assemble care packages with our golfers!!! What a wonderful, beautiful, powerful name…the name of Jesus. Friday was dark, Saturday silent in mourning, but Sunday…Sunday came, the rock was rolled away, the tomb was empty, and He had risen. Thank you God for loving us so much that you came to us to bridge the gap between Heaven and Earth. We celebrate Easter Sunday with gratefulness in our hearts and in awe of the power and love of Jesus. 💛

Hey Fams...Think you missed the application deadline for our 2026 Green & Gold Scholarships??? Well, guess again!!

Our application acceptance window has been EXTENDED through April 30th (wahoo!!!) meaning you have a whole new month to get your kiddos application to us!

We LOVE providing these scholarships and thanks to the AMAZING Bucket-a-Thon participants from this past year - we have funds to pass along!

As a reminder these are not just collegiate scholarships - we offer 2 scholarship types for Childhood Cancer fighters & survivors ages 8-20!
