Lorena Gallo Foundation

Lorena Gallo Foundation Lorena gallo foundation is a Non-Profit organization that works with various community organizations helping victims of domestic violence

Lorena was born in Ecuador and raised in Venezuela. Upon completion of school she moved to the Northern Virginia area. Lorena then met John Bobbitt, and married at a very young age. Throughout her marriage she was a victim of domestic violence. Today, Lorena no longer considers herself a victim of domestic violence. With the formation of her non profit organization (Lorena’s Red Wagon), she is now

able to speak out against domestic violence. The primary function of her organization is to try to prevent domestic violence through family oriented activities. The organization takes on many other roles, such as:

-Working with local and national government organizations, helping to create stricter and more enforceable domestic violence laws.

-Working with various shelters within the community, soliciting donations on behalf of the shelters, thus helping the shelter to provide meals, food, and clothing for the families in the shelter.

-Coordinating with local businesses to help provide over 200 hot meals to needy families for Thanksgiving, along with coordinating a toy drive to provide needy children with presents during the holiday season.

Community. Compassion. Action.

This weekend, the Lorena Gallo Foundation (LGF) proudly participated in the Coldest Night of the Year Walk (CNOY) benefiting Hope And Rest Temporary Shelter (HARTS) in Front Royal.

Our LGF walking team members were Adam, Riya, Anika, Susanne, Ashley, Anna, Tracy and Lorena joined the walk.
Alongside generous community sponsors and donors including Dave from National Window Tint, Brooke from Studio B Salon, Zo, Kat, Mary, and Gardner; together we helped HARTS raise over $42,000 to support shelter and services for those in need.

This growing annual event is making a real difference in Warren County. it’s great when a community works together for a common goal that can benefit others, we are honored to stand with organizations that provide safety, stability, and hope.

We are proud to support HARTS and look forward to continuing this collaboration next year and beyond.
Together, we are stronger.💜

The Epstein Files reveal the horrors of sexual abuse and human trafficking orchestrated by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. What is most important to remember is the courage of the survivors, who were children at the time.

These brave women have come forward to reclaim their stories, demand justice, and protect future generations from similar abuse. Their voices shine light on a world that tried to silence them.

At the Lorena Gallo Foundation, we honor and stand with all survivors of sexual abuse and human trafficking. Healing begins with support, awareness, and action.

Speak up, educate, and protect the vulnerable💜

I spent some Time in Santa Rosa at the Charles Schulz Museum, which I like to refer to as “The Snoopy Museum.”

There is a lot of uncertainty and unrest going on in the country right now, and we are more divided than ever!! What are we willing to do as a civilized society to make this better!! It all starts with “kindness”.

What do you think you can learn from “Peanuts” and its characters today!!

“Be kind to people.”
“Everybody has problems, and they can be overcome.”
“There is never any blame that doesn’t get resolved.”
“If you look at things with humor, you can get through a lot that would otherwise defeat you.”

Thank you, Jean Schulz, for continuing to carry on this legacy!!

On May 15th, we celebrated the incredible birthday of our unstoppable founder — Lorena Gallo!

From surviving unimaginable abuse to becoming an international symbol of strength, Lorena has transformed her pain into purpose. Her voice now echoes around the world as a fierce advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, fighting every day to break the silence, challenge the system, and empower survivors.

Lorena Gallo is not just a name — it’s a movement. A force to be reckoned with. A woman who refused to be defined by her past and instead chose to rewrite the future for others. Through the Lorena Gallo Foundation, she continues to educate, raise awareness, and create real change for those affected by abuse.

Help us celebrate her life, her legacy, and her tireless mission to build a world where survivors are believed, supported, and uplifted.

Happy Birthday, Lorena! Your courage inspires us all.

We Know We're a Day Behind… But the Love Is Still Overflowing!

Yesterday, we were busy soaking in every bit of love, rest, and gratitude for the incredible women who shape our world—our mothers. Whether you're a biological mom, a mother figure, a grandmother, or someone who steps in and loves like a mother—you matter, you are seen, and you are deeply appreciated.

At the Lorena Gallo Foundation, we know that being a mother often means giving so much of yourself—your strength, your time, your heart—often without pause. That’s why we took the time to slow down, reflect, and honor the extraordinary power, resilience, and love that mothers bring into the lives of their families and communities.

To all the amazing moms out there: thank you.
Thank you for your patience, your sacrifices, your wisdom, and your endless love. You are true warriors, nurturers, protectors, and role models.

We hope you felt celebrated yesterday—and that you continue to feel that way every day.

Happy (Belated) Mother's Day from all of us at the Lorena Gallo Foundation!
