Casey Gliniak is working with the Pitt County Schools' Health Sciences Academy to collect donations in support of NC Packs 4 Patriots. Casey and her team are collecting full-size, nut-free Hershey's chocolate bars, handmade holiday-themed cards, and encouragement cards to help bring a little sweetness, comfort, and connection to our service members. She set up a collection box at our location for drop offs. She will also be in house this Friday at Steak Night for any donations you would like to bring her.
The goal is to collect at least 100 full-size, 1.55 oz Hershey's bars that meet the nut-free requirement and 100 handmade cards. She hopes to collect all donations by November 10 (right before Veteran's Day) so the items can be prepared and sent out before Thanksgiving, with the hope that they will arrive in time for the Christmas holiday. Please bring in your homemade cards and chocolate bars this Friday, 6 November 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Thank you for your support in her mission.
