Dear Neighbors & Friends,
The Gathering Place in Havelock has been blessed to serve warm meals, encouragement, and hope to members of the community who are struggling with food insecurity, hardship, or unexpected life challenges. We are a Christian-based soup kitchen and a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission has always been simple: to serve others with love, dignity, and compassion.
Today, we are excited to share that The Gathering Place is moving to a new, larger location — a step that will allow us to continue and expand our mission of feeding and supporting those in need throughout our community. While this move is a blessing, it also brings significant expenses and ongoing operational needs.
We are asking our community to prayerfully consider supporting The Gathering Place through either:
• A one-time donation to help with moving and setup expenses, and/or
• A monthly commitment to help sustain our mission and daily operations.
No gift is too small. We are 100% volunteer-run, and every dollar helps provide meals, supplies, utilities, and a welcoming place for those who need support and kindness.
