At Hub City Humane Society, we’re always in need of supplies to help care for our furry friends! 🐶🐱 Every donation, big or small, makes a difference in the lives of the animals waiting for their forever homes.

🐱 Cat Items:Cat litter, cat food, cat toys, and hammocks for cages

🐶 Dog Items:Dog treats, squeeze cheese, leashes, collars, shampoo, and p**p bags

📎 Office Items:Copy paper, Brother TN229 toner, 55 gallons trash bags, and zip ties

What a night! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2nd Annual Tricks for Treats on the Trace!

We are incredibly grateful to our generous sponsors, wonderful vendors, and the amazing community that came out to support Hub City Humane Society!

A HUGE thank you to our volunteers who worked so hard to make this event happen! From planning and preparation to setup, activities, and cleanup, we couldn't have pulled it off without you. To our dedicated staff and Board of Directors, thank you for the time, energy, and teamwork that went into making this night a success!

We loved seeing all the creative costumes and watching everyone have fun during our costume contests. But one of the biggest highlights of the evening was seeing SO MANY familiar furry faces who were adopted from our shelter! Seeing our former residents happy, loved, and enjoying life with their families is what makes everything we do worthwhile.

One thing we can all agree on is that when local businesses show up for a good cause, we should show up for them, too! 🐾

Our friends at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop love animals and want to help support the cause, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have them in our corner!

So, let’s return the love! ❤️ Make plans for Taco Tuesday TONIGHT and go visit Fuzzy’s. Grab some tacos, enjoy a night off from cooking, and support a local business that cares about our four-legged friends.

TCAH has officially deemed October as Adopt-A Pet Month!

Meet **Fred**! ❤️

Fred is a **3.5-month-old tuxedo kitten** who is ready to find his forever home. He’s got the classic tuxedo look, plenty of kitten personality, and one very important request:

🐶 **No dogs, please.** Fred would prefer a home where he doesn’t have to share his space with the canine crew.

This October, we’re teaming up with **Hub City Humane Society** to spotlight an adoptable pet every Tuesday for **Adopt-a-Pet Month**—and we’re kicking things off with this handsome little guy!

🏡🐾 **Forever Home Friday ❤️!** 🐾🏡

If Guilly looks familiar, that’s because **we’ve met this special girl before.** 💙

Guilly came to us after being rescued with a rope deeply ingrown around her neck. After daily care and countless bandage changes at Hub City, you can hardly tell what she’s been through. And somehow, through it all, Guilly has remained exactly what she is today—a happy, goofy, fun-loving girl. 🥹💕

Guilly is a BALL of fun and will play for hours if you let her! 🎾 She absolutely loves her toys and is a total people pleaser.

She can be a little **rough-and-tumble** when she gets excited, so we recommend a meet-and-greet/play date with any potential four-legged housemates to make sure everyone is a good match.

And can we talk about those looks?! 👀💙 Her beautiful blue eyes and giant ears are pretty hard to miss. You won’t find another dog quite like Guilly.

She’s been through a lot. Now she’s ready for the part she’s been waiting for: a forever home. 🏡

🐾 **Take Me Home Tuesday: Meet Dorothy!** 💛

Dorothy is still waiting for her happily-ever-after, and she’s the **LAST of her litter still at the shelter.** 🥺 Click through the photos to see where her story began and just how far she’s come!

So, what makes Dorothy so special? Well, where do we even start?!

💕 She’s a professional kiss-giver, a certified cuddle bug, and a proud member of the wiggle-butt club. She loves belly rubs, toys, other dogs, and pretty much everyone she meets. She’s playful, full of energy, eager to please, and still very much a puppy at heart!

🌊 We’re also pretty sure Dorothy was a fish in another life because this girl LOVES the water! 🐠

She already knows “sit,” is working on her leash skills, and plays well with others. She’s got so much love to give and is just waiting for someone to give her a chance.

Dorothy has come so far, and we’d love to see her be the next one to leave the shelter for good. Could you be her person? 🏡❤️
