**UPDATE**

All is well! The transplant was successful and recovery is moving g slowly along.
I have made it through the hospital portion and will be able to go home to Hattiesburg tomorrow. The drs say it will take a week or two for the kidney to acclimate and function fully, but my numbers all look good and I am feeling like a new person.
Thank you all for the continues prayers and support. The next three months are pivotal as my body regulates to the foreign organ and we balance my immune system to keep me safe but also allow my body not yo reject the kidney.
This is truly a miracle and a dream come true. I am aware now and have my phone so feel free to call or message. I'll let everyone know when I cam have visitors. Most likely next week. Love you all.

It happened!!!! I got the call last night, I will receive my transplant sometime this morning! Thank you all for the support!

Quick check in. I am going in for my yearly evaluation on the 26th. This will be my 5th one, so fingers crossed I am getting close.

Hello all,

I apologize for the the silence, but I have been in a sort of limbo lately. Over the past several months, the transplant hospital, UMMC, has put me through a complete reevaluation. It took several months and quite a few Dr. appointments and tests, but I am proud to announce I am BACK ON THE LIST!

Thank you all for the continued prayers and thoughts as I make my way on this journey. Having a support system is a huge relief when going through something like this. We are still raising money for expenses, so if you are able, there is a go fund me linked on the page.

It is waiting game at this point, but I will keep you all updated if and when anything happens. Thank you again for being here with me!

Hello All!
Thank you so much for stopping by and going on this journey with me. It has been a long road, and I have had great support through it, but we are getting so close now! This page will serve as a hub of information on my progress, fundraising, events, inspirational quotes, and ultimately info when the kidney transplant happens along with my recovery.
