We had such an amazing time participating in the 2019 MS walk for Diabetes. We decided to enter our tshirts in the tshirt contest and won 1st place!! (I'm still going to address the issue with the company for the people who ordered through the school.) Thank you to our family, friends and sponsors we appreciate all of your support!!!

Today is the day for the 2019 Mississippi Walk for Diabetes. Registration is at 1pm at the Longleaf Trace, USM Gateway. The walk begins at 2pm.

We also have a disappointing announcement..
Dylan's team t-shirt will NOT be worn today or passed out until I speak with the owner of the company Monday. The shirts were printed on white shirts instead of grey, and Steve's skin color was printed dark grey instead of flesh/beige color. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. (This is very disappointing to us)

Let's try and make the best of today! (Matching tshirts or not) See you there!!

This is Quincy! He is a koala at the San Diego Zoo who has type 1 diabetes. He is seen here with a continuous glucose monitor which allows his caretakers to know what is blood sugar is without having to enter his private habitat. Quincy likes to have some eucalyptus to help treat his low blood sugars. 💙🐨💙

The Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi has really become one of our biggest support systems. This organization helps over 373,000 Mississippians! They provide children, community and educational services all over our state. One of our Lamar County Schools just received the Sweet Subjects educational program!! It makes me happy to know they have helped so close to home. Here is a little information about Who they are and what they do. CHECK IT OUT!!!!!
