Many of our dogs are pulled directly from local shelters, saving some of the most at risk dogs in our very own backyard. Our rescue operates out of a doggy daycare, which is primarily an off leash facility, and the ultimate stepping stone for the dog-friendly pup waiting to find it's forever home. We also have several dogs in private foster homes. Our adoption package includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping and basic vet care. Want to support our rescues? Hey there, Delilah, w✔hat's it like at Dog Town Rescue?

Delilah is an approx 3 month old small to medium mix puppy. She looks to be all, or mostly, jack russel terrier, but since she came to us from a shelter we are unable to guarantee any genetics. We estimate she likely will be 10-20 lbs full grown, but of course this is all a best guess.

What we do know about Delilah?
✔ Fun!
✔ Adorable!
✔ Playful!

Delilah is still working on things like leash walking and housebreaking and will need a family who understands the time and effort that will need to go into training and socializing a young puppy so she can grow to be her best self.

Delilah's adoption fee will include her spay, microchipping and age appropriate vaccinations. She is also up to date on preventatives.

Interested in adopting Delilah? Please fill an application out at dogtownrescue.org
Please note: An approved application and appointment are required to meet any of our dogs.

🐾💔 THOSE EYES! 🥹 How can you possibly say no to that face?!

Sweet little Yuzu has some BIG news! ❤️🐶

Our little guy recently met with a heart specialist, and we are SO happy to share that he is a candidate for heart surgery! 🎉❤️

The not-so-great news? 💸 That surgery comes with a VERY hefty price tag. But Yuzu deserves every chance at a long, happy life filled with belly rubs, treats, and all the puppy shenanigans his little heart can handle! 🐾

🎃👜 THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN! 👜🎃

Our Halloween Designer Purse Bingo 2026 is almost here, and SELLING OUT THIS EVENT would be a HUGE help in raising the funds needed for Yuzu's surgery!

And seriously... is there a better excuse for a day out with your friends?!

👜 Designer purses, 🎟️ raffles, 💰 $1,000 JACKPOTS, 🎃 Halloween fun, and plenty of questionable shenanigans!

You get a fun-filled day with your friends, a chance to win some fabulous prizes, AND you help give a very special puppy a fighting chance at life. ❤️

🐶 Yuzu can't buy his own Bingo ticket (no thumbs, no wallet, very poor financial planning), so he's counting on YOU! 😂

🎟️ GRAB YOUR TICKETS! INVITE YOUR FRIENDS! HELP US SELL OUT BINGO FOR YUZU!

👇 Drop a ❤️ for Yuzu, tag your Bingo besties, and let's fill those seats!

Dash!

Dash is an approx 3-4 month old small to medium mix puppy who seems to keep growing in length more than height, although we can't guarantee he will ever fully grow into this ears.

You know you have a story to tell when your originating vet paperwork has you and your sister listed as "Ditch Baby 1".....
Dash and his sister Opal were found as strays in a ditch in the South by a Good Samaritan who then took them to the vet to get checked out and fostered them temporarily until they were able to join us. Dash may be some sort of terrier/dachshund/corgi type mix, all of which of course is a best guess. It's clear that Dash inherited the ear genes in the litter, although we aren't so sure that it came with the brain cell genes. He's a happy (and may a little simple) kind of guy.

Like most puppies his age Dash is still learning the ways of the human world. Leashes are still weird but he is getting used to them and while she does a decent job of keeping his crate clean she will need a schedule and continued work on housebreaking.

Dash's adoption fee will include his neuter, microchipping and age appropriate vaccinations. She is also up to date on preventatives.

Interested in adopting Dash? Please fill an application out at dogtownrescue.org

Opal!

Opal is an approx 3-4 month old small to medium mix puppy who seems to keep growing in length more than height!

You know you have a story to tell when your originating vet paperwork has you listed as "Ditch Baby 1".....
Opal and her brother Dash were found as strays in a ditch in the South by a Good Samaritan who then took them to the vet to get checked out and fostered them temporarily until they were able to join us. Opal may be some sort of terrier/dachshund/corgi type mix, all of which of course is a best guess. What we can tell you for certain is she is a fun girl. She enjoys playing with other dogs, although she does seem to enjoy the laps of humans, really any human who has an empty lap, most of all.

Like most puppies her age Opal is still learning the ways of the human world. Leashes are still weird but she is getting used to them and while she does a decent job of keeping her crate clean she will need a schedule and continued work on housebreaking.

Opal's adoption fee will include her spay, microchipping and age appropriate vaccinations. She is also up to date on preventatives.

FUJI!!

A SPECIAL PLEA FOR A SPECIAL DOG
PLEASE READ FULL BIO BELOW

Fuji is a 2-3 yr old medium sized (approx. 45-50 lb) pit mix with the cutest ears and a permanent curious expression on his face. Fuji has a long history with our rescue - he was with us for a long period of time as a younger pup and was adopted into what we hoped was his forever home almost 2 years ago. However as we all know, sometimes life has other plans for us that can completely throw a wrench into things and upend even the best laid plans. So due to the personal circumstances of his owner Fuji is back with us and the hunt for the next chapter in his story.

Fuji initially attended a board and train with trainers while with us and has maintained his commands and training. He does best when he has a routine, structure and an outlet for both his physical and mental needs. He is a smart cookie and is always ready to show off all he knows. He knows to sit for his food, wait when you pause at corners and walk well on a leash (but he does sometimes need reminders to mind his manners). He is loyal to his people and is good with other dogs who are a match for him.

Fuji did live with another playful medium sized dog and sometimes attends structured daycare to remain socialized. He should not live with cats or young kids. He does have some anxiety, which is well controlled with medication and keeping his life well structured. He would be a great dog for a "dog person" who is patient and enjoys training and working with their dog. He loves things like the flirt pole and would probably rock an agility course or class. Noseworks would probably be right up his alley too. He is crate trained.

We are looking to place him into an adult home that is consistent and not super chaotic.
We are happy to offer a private training session with his previous trainers as part of his adoption package.
We would also be open to a foster or foster to adopt home for Fuji and are willing to offer as much support as we can to ease his transition. It has been sad to see his confusion coming back into our busy adoption center and we want to set him up for success as best as we can. Fuji is a dog with a lot of potential who has just been failed by the world, through no fault of his own nor his former adopters', and we would love to see his luck take a turn for the better.

Fuji is up to date on vet care, including vaccinations and microchipping and tested heartworm negative. He is neutered and current on his preventatives.

Chuck!

Chuck recently joined us from one of our rescue partners and has shown himself to be the life of the party. He is the guy who shows up with his own case of b**r, is funny, has a large group of admirers (both men and women) and you just find yourself liking him, as much as you may not want to.

Chuck is a 2-3 year old approx 30 lbs doodle mix who is just ready to go.
Car rides? Loves 'em!
Other dogs? Loves em!
Kids? Loves em! (do you see a theme here)

He is playful and would love a family willing to include him in some adventures. He is good in a crate, appears to be housebroken (or mostly so, he may have some accidents getting used to a new routine and environment). Although Chuck was originally found as a stray he was clearly a loved pet at some point, and even knows to sit politely as soon as he thinks treats are a possibility.

Chuck is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is also heartworm tested negative and up to date on preventatives.

Interested in adopting Chuck? Please fill an application out at dogtownrescue.org
Please note: An approved application and appointment are required to meet any of our dogs.
