As I am wrapping up the school year, I am very excited to be kicking off the summer rodeo season! And what better way to do that than the Blue Rose Charity Rodeo in Springfield last weekend! I had an amazing time carrying sponsor flags and assisting with the Smiles and Spurs Adaptive Rodeo before the performance. Working with young children is one of my passions, so being able to combine that with rodeo was extra special!

This past Saturday I got to spend the evening celebrating Miss Rodeo Nebraska 2026, Brylee Thompson! I attended her coronation party in North Platte, where we enjoyed an evening with friends, a wonderful meal, an auction to raise money for Brylee’s year ahead, and much more! I know she’s going to do an amazing job representing our great state throughout 2026! Congratulations Brylee!

One of my favorite traditions during the holidays is driving into Minden with my family to see the beautiful lights that adorn town square during this special time of year. Family traditions like these remind me that no matter how busy life gets, it’s important to make time for these special moments, no matter how simple.

❄️ It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas❄️

This past weekend it really did feel like Christmas at the Wahoo Rodeo Royalty Christmas Banquet! We kicked off the night riding on our float in the Parade of Lights, followed by some modeling and pictures with Santa! The rest of the night was full of friendship, laughter, and of course, hot cocoa and Christmas cookies!

I haven’t been as busy lately with the year coming to an end, but yesterday I had a great evening celebrating Miss Rodeo Nebraska Danielle Forster! As Dani gets ready to head to Vegas to compete for Miss Rodeo America, we were able to get a sneak peek at all of her incredible outfits and meet some visiting royalty at her send-off party. Good luck in Vegas Dani! I know you will do an amazing job!
