Please we beg you do not put glass plastic bottles steel cans or trash in the scouts aluminum can trailer. The kids have to remove all of these items before we can recycle the aluminum cans. Please there are trash cans all over town but your trash there.

The Cub Scouts Aluminum Can recycling trailer has moved to Fleet Farm!
The decision to move the trailer was neither the packs, nor Coburns, and we would like to thank Coburns for supporting the Cub Scouts for the last several years.
This trailer is a very important fundraiser for scouts in Hastings as the money earned helps us send our cub scouts to summer camp almost for free.

We would like to thank the community for your support. We would also like you to thank the managers at Coburns for supporting us the past few years. And finally we would love for you all to thank the managers at Fleet Farm for welcoming us to their lot and supporting Cub Scouting!

The can trailer at Coburns is an amazing fundraiser for our local scouts. But we have to empty every bag into dumpsters at the recycling center.

Please stop putting bags of trash and plastic recyclables into the aluminum can trailer.

If this is your clearstream recycling bag or you know who may have dropped it off please come get it and put it in your curbside recycling not our can trailer.

All the glass and plastic that is put in the trailer ends up in the trash. We have no other source to get rid of it. It also takes up space for people that have cans to donate.

Come visit us today downtown Hastings under the bridge to sign up for the free community Pinewood Derby race. Free jit forkids in k-5 th grade

Race will be on August 18th.

We would like to thank Angela Wakefield for being a dedicated den leader for the last 6 years. After the blue and gold banquet last week for her den she officially completed her run as a Den Leader with Pack 9278. We hope you learned just as much as you taught and hope you find a good use of all your new found free time!

Next weekend - the Little Log House, Pioneer Village, Antique Power Show. A great event. If you come, buy your refreshments from our concession stand. A great value - we have not raised prices! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and helps keep our pack dues free, pays for awards and camping experiences.
